My Easter Bunny Suprise

Guess who!!! Yes, it’s Lia the Baby Blogger but it’s not Friday! I don’t want you to get confused and think this is my Friday Story Time but I was so excited to show you my Easter bunny surprise I made for mommy and daddy.

GGmama got this idea from Pinterest and we got busy working on it Saturday. All you need is a piece of cardboard, a picture of someone’s face (of course I used mine), paint, glue and cotton balls.

First mama cut out a bunny shape on an old shipping box, then the next part was fun. I got to paint the bottom of my feet again and stand on a piece of heavy paper to make my footprints on it.

After I made my footprints, I painted the ears a pretty pink to match my pink feet! I love to paint and I’m getting good at holding the brush the right way.

Here is my smiling face! While the paint was drying, mama helped me glue my face on the bunny.

The next part was fun but it took a long time. Mama put glue on the bunny and I had to cover the entire bunny with cotton balls! I had to be careful not to get glue on my hands because if I did that, the cotton ball would get stuck to my fingers! I carefully glued the cotton balls around each ear and then around my face and over the body. YAY I got my cardboard bunny all covered with the cotton balls!

After the glue dried and the cotton balls were all in place I was ready to glue my painted footprints to the bottom part of my bunny.

Look at me, I mean look at my bunny!

When I gave mommy and daddy their Easter bunny surprise they were both so surprised and loved it! Another great project completed with love! See the little flap that says “priority mail”?Mama had a bright idea to leave that flap so it could be a little stand. It worked, mommy and daddy can stand it up on the table!

GGmama and papa’s Cross

While visiting with my grandma and grandpa a few weeks ago I did a project with my grandma and aunt (daddy’s sister).and This was a big surprise to GGmama and papa, they didn’t have a clue about it! Grandma and Jasmine helped me make and paint this cross, I even put my thumbprint on the top with a hole so they can hang it up. GGmama and papa love it so much but I can’t figure out why GGmama cried if she loves it. She said something about happy tears, I’ll have to figure out what those are.

This is a project I did with my feet and hand prints last month for my mommy’s birthday present. It was so much fun and mommy loved it! http://themarthareview.com/mommys-birthday-surprise/

I hope you all have a great week, I’ll be busy working on my Friday Story Time by Lia. I have so many ideas I’m not sure what to write about first! See you all Friday! ❤️

Adorable projects and even though C is 12 he wants to make the Bunny for his grandmother and I am thinking of making one with both his picture and his sister to hang up each year. Also Charlie says once this is over he is going to make a Cross his grandmother can take to her mom’s grave each year and his sister. Thank you for giving us these ideals we can use for our Homeschooling Art class as Charlie has decided to continue next year which I am excited about.

What a great idea to hang the bunny up each year. I’d love to see C’s bunny creation! And how sweet for him to make a Cross for his great grandmother’s grave.

Even though Lia won’t remember all her crafts she is doing so young, I’m sure she will continue to love her baking and craft projects. All these help a little one grow Shrilekha.

Lia loves doing crafts. As soon as I mention paints, she runs to the drawer and gets her craft shirt out. If I mention making a cake she grabs her apron. I think I’m having more fun than she is Susan!
