Lia’s Twelve Day Countdown – Day 10
This little bundle of energy just doesn’t stop exploring, learning, loving and smiling. Lia is now walking and eating anything in front of her! I love to hear her jibbering away and claps when she does something new. Lia is getting so tall, she is 29″ already!
There is nothing better than sinking your teeth in a fresh ear of corn lathered with butter! Lia was excited to have her first ear of corn and since she has top and bottom teeth, she ate the corn on the cob like a pro!
I mentioned that Lia loves the outdoors, she is so interested in the grass, pine needles and leaves. Lia is so inquisitive about everything.
A friend gave Lia this little wagon that belonged to her granddaughter. It’s the perfect size for her to help GG papa in the yard and garden. I thought it was cute how she is inspecting the tires and under the wagon. Looks like she will make a great mechanic!
Fresh strawberries are ready! We went to the farmer’s market to get some delicious freshly picked ones and Lia loved them! Of course, she loves everything! They were a bit slippery when she tried to pick them up but with persistence and concentration she did it!
It’s time to pick some vegetables from our garden! Lia is getting an early start on learning about vegetables and gardening!
It’s daddy’s first Father’s Day celebration with Lia! Look at the beautiful Picaso painting she made for daddy! Mommy helped her get the paint ready but Lia did all the rest!
I love the expression on her face as she hands daddy the present GG mama help Lia create. The mug says “Best Ever Daddy” with a sweet picture of Lia and daddy on the other side.
Lia created an artistic painting for GG Papa and this is another keeper. Lia is so excited to show papa some of the pictures of them together. I love her little hand prints behind the photos.
Happy 1st Father’s Day daddy and GG papa!
Lia is like a little bird, as soon as she sees food, her little mouth pops open! This was her first time trying GG papa’s famous meatballs and by the look on her face, she loved them!
While waiting for mommy to finish a meeting, Lia got to sit in the front set! She loves seeing “baby friends” in a mirror and she found one while in the truck!
While on her outside excursion, Lia made a stop to visit her great, great, grandma’s memory garden. She enjoys studying what ever she picks up and today she was examining a leaf from our rose bush. The way her little skirt is blowing up reminds me of the picture of Marilyn Monroe!
Lia is patiently waiting for dinner at Dairy Queen while mommy is ordering some yummy chicken. She has her spoon all ready! After another long time, Lia found that magnet on GG papa’s shoulder again. This is just like her mommy was, so much love.
This is one of my favorites! Lia found a little truck that belonged to her uncle Zac when he was tiny. She sad down and started rolling it across the floor and did this bring back memories of when Zac would do the same thing! But it’s the last picture that I snapped at just the right time. Lia is telling Zac, “I found your truck and I’m KEEPING IT!”
We never know what Lia will do next. She even dusted her toys. I love watching this little ball of love grow and and expand in learning new things daily. She is only a few days away from her first birthday! This is Lia’s Twelve Day Countdown – day 9 if you missed it. http://themarthareview.com/lias-twelve-day-countdown-day-9
This countdown is great!
I’ve enjoyed putting it together Roy, now to save them for when Lia is 18!
Lia I enjoy corn with butter too! Yum. 🙂
That’s the best way to eat corn Amanda! Lia is following my footsteps!
