Lia’s Twelve Day Countdown – Day 9

Nine months old and such a little sweetheart! Lia is constantly wanting to learn new things and nothing slows her down. Lia’s Twelve Day Countdown – day 9 shows the weeks before her nine month birthday.

Our vegetable garden was doing great and Lia would check it out with GG papa and mama when she was visiting with us. The lettuce was the first to be ready to pick and Lia did great picking the leaves. All farmers have to get there toes in the dirt so that’s just what Lia did! After picking the lettuce, she served GG papa a big salad! Nothing better than fresh lettuce served by an adorable waitress.

How many of you remember running around the yard in the rain? We actually had a nice rain without thunder and lightening so mommy and Lia went outside and rain between the raindrops. From the look on her face i think she thought this was a strange game to play. But as usually it didn’t take her long to turn her look into a smile. Look at her little teeth, she even has one on top now!

We love Jersey Mike’s subs but daddy had to work so mommy and Lia along with GG papa and mama went shopping and stopped for subs. This was Lia’s first time eating a Jersey Mike’s sub and she loved it. She put her hand on the bag that was going home for daddy as if to say, “This is mine, nobody touch it!”

After a day of shopping, we stopped at Steak ‘n Shake for lunch and Lia got to draw while waiting for her food to arrive. The fish at Bass Pro Shop were fun to look at and Lia was looking to find Nemo! Remember all the ride on toys they use to have in the malls years ago when they were 10 cents to ride? Well now it’s a dollar a ride but worth every penny to see Lia (and mommy) smile on the school bus. Shopping is very tiring and it didn’t take long for Lia to realize that and fell asleep as soon as she was back in her car seat. A fun day for sure!

Every park needs a princess and when GG papa and GG mama took Lia to the North Myrtle Beach park to swing and feed the fish and turtles, she was Princess for the day! Lia loves playing outdoors!

Lia celebrated mommy’s 1st Mother’s Day this month! GG mama and Lia had a fun day making a bouquet out of hand prints then washing her hands so mommy wouldn’t suspect anything when she went home. We also designed a mug using Lia’s first picture after she was born, a beautiful mommy with Lia looking so loving at her and another one in front of Lia’s great, great grandma’s memory garden.

Look at the beautiful picture that Lia painted for GG mama! Her first artwork is displayed in a special place in our home!

Lia the Baby Blogger at work trying out this little pool with a dolphin spray! She loves the water and didn’t even mind getting sprinkled with water! She gave this pool 5 stars! “““““““““““““““““

You knew there would be photos of Lia napping! She has some of the most unusual positions when snuggling on the chair with GG papa.

What more can I say about this little bundle of smiles! Lia is so full of love and when people see her smile, it makes them smile back. She sure had an exciting month with so many changes in what she does and how she is growing so fast.
