Kick the Bucket
Last year on today’s date the suggested topic was what is on your “Bucket List” before you actually Kick the Bucket. This is the blog I previously wrote and it tells how my Bucket List has already been completed. http://themarthareview.com/bucket-list/
So I’m sorta staying on the same topic but writing about what I hope to do with my Mama’s Minkys hobby. I call it a hobby because it’s something I love to do but I’m not making enough money to call it a business and live on. I love surprising folks with a Minky blanket. Some are gifts for a new baby, some are birthday and Christmas gifts while others are “hope you feel better” surprise gifts.
When it comes to licensed fabrics, I can’t make a product for resale but it can be a gift like this one. The Minky with the little piggy fabric is a lap blanket for a friend in a wheel chair and both of these cheered the recipients up!
If I was to have a Minky Bucket List it would be to create tiny Minky blankets for preemie babies. It would be a special gift for the precious little one and something they can cherish as they grow older.
I enjoy putting smiles on faces and creating tiny Minky blankets is something I would love to do before I kick the bucket.
Your pictures put a smile on my face! What a cutie pie! I think it is a good idea to revisit one’s bucket list every year to see if things are still on track.
Thanks Paul, every time I see Lia or her picture, it warms my heart and brings a smile to my face! Since I don’t have a “fancy” bucket list I like to revisit it also, things can change.
you truly do put smiles on peoples faces everyday Martha!
Awww thanks Vidya. I love making people happy and sometimes it’s little things that make them smile.
Bucket list full of smiles cannot be beat
It’s been full of smiles going on 54 years Richard and yes it’s something that cannot be beat. They continue when we find the pennies sent from Heaven. <3
