It’s That Time Again!
Guess what day it is? No I’m not talking about Hump Day or Wordless Wednesday, I’m talking about the ULTIMATE BLOG CHALLENGE!! Yes, it’s that time again for the April 2020 challenge! WOO HOO, I’ve been participating in the UBC since January 2016 and have completed the challenge every quarter since then. I am now on my 5th year of writing a blog every day in the months of January, April, July, and October.
Through these past years I have met so many great bloggers who have turned into wonderful friends and I look forward to reconnecting with them every challenge month. Many of them continue to blog during the “off months” so we still have our little blogging family to visit. My goal for writing blogs on the months where there is no challenge is to write one or two per week. I’ve been staying on track and mostly I have the Ultimate Blog Challenge to thank for that. Once we start following a pattern it seems to stick with us and it’s the same with blogging. I’m always up for a challenge and look forward to the April Challenge! Thanks to our great host Paul T., we have the opportunity to keep our brains in full swing and let our creative juices flow!
Of course during challenge months our blog stats are usually higher than a normal month. This is thanks to everyone who visits our blogs, leaves comments, shares to other social groups and likes our blogs. So a BIG thank you for everyone who has helped my stats grow!!
I decided to check my stats from the past three months. January was the challenge month and I had 3218 views, an average of 104 per day for the 31 blogs I wrote. February I had a total of 2619 views, an average of 90 per day which was great since I only wrote ten blogs during the month of February. March was another good month with a total of 3083 views, an average of 99 per day on the 12 blogs I wrote in March. I was very pleased with my March stats since it was close to January! Again, none of this would have happened without all my wonderful viewers!
As the April blog challenge begins, I’m excited to reconnect with my “old” blogger friends and hopefully meet many new bloggers who have joined in. As usual I have a few topics already in the works, I’ll have my Wordless Wednesday photos and of course the Friday Story Time by Lia. For those new to this challenge, Lia is my 19 month old great granddaughter who is the sweetest, most loving, happiest and always ready to share her smile with everyone. She started doing product reviews when she was about 7 months old and has since started her story time mostly on baking and craft projects she does. Lia has her own category on my blog, stop by Lia’s Likings the Baby Blogger and see how active this little one is!
I like how Paul sends out daily emails with suggested blog topics in case we hit a block for an idea. I write my blogs the evening before the due date but sometimes I use the suggested topic a day late! So let’s put our thinking caps on, our fingers limbered up and start this April Ultimate Blog Challenge off with a bang! Oh and by the way, this is not an April Fools joke, it’s that time again so let the challenge begin!

When I started my blog in December 2014 I didn’t have a clue either. Take it a day at a time and if you have any questions just ask! If I don’t know the answer I’m sure someone will.
