Easter Craft Project

Hi, it’s Lia back with another Friday Story Time by Lia. Today I’m sharing a fun Easter craft project I made using spray paint tops! Ma saved all the bright colored tops from our outdoor furniture painting because she said I would find a project for them.

I started by putting pieces of floral foam in the bottom of the paint top then poked some artificial flowers and Easter grass around it.

Ma got some cute sparkly bunnies at Dollar Tree and I poked them in the center of the flowers.

This is the one I made for my neighbor friend Judy. When I took it over to her she was so surprised.

I had just the right color paint tops! Mommy loves purple, daddy likes blue and gramma likes orange so Ma even found an orange top. I’m glad Ma saves so much stuff, I always have something I can make out it!

I make my craft projects at Ma’s house so I can surprise mommy with them. She was so happy when I gave her the Easter gift.

I love making surprise gifts and daddy was so excited when I gave him a blue one. I didn’t get a picture of gramma but she loved her orange flower cup.

We used mommy’s gift as a center piece too! I decorated the cake to make it look like the chickens were laying eggs on the grass.

Ma’s sister makes little decorations like this at Christmas using laundry tops. She uses tops that are red or green and puts poinsettias in them, maybe I’ll do that too! I hope you liked my Easter craft project. I’ll be back next week!

I don’t know who enjoys the crafts projects more, Lia or me. But we have so much fun working on them together and I think for Christmas she will make red and green caps Kebba!

It’s so easy Amrita and Lia has fun making them. She will probably make Christmas ones from red and green tops. I’ll have to get my laundry detergent with the colored tops she needs. LOL
