Congratulations on the 2020 July Challenge Completion!
31 days, 32 blogs written for the July Ultimate Blog Challenge! It’s been one great month of being reconnected with the “old” challenge members and meeting so many new bloggers! Of course this challenge would not be here if it wasn’t for the great blog host Paul T. Paul organizes the challenge, sends out daily suggested topics and posts a daily thread on the website so we can all post our blogs in one place. This makes it easier for everyone to find and read blogs from the bloggers in the challenge. So as the July Challenge came to an end yesterday Lia and I want to send out CONGRATULATIONS on the 2020 July Challenge Completion!
This is a poem I wrote last year about the UBC and I like to share it after every challenge month!
I want to thank all those who viewed, read, commented, liked, shared, and followed my blog. It’s because of you that I am where I am in my stats. The July challenge had the highest numbers ever!
I started the month with 153,505 blog views and I ended it with 162,615. That’s 9193 monthly views for July or an average of 297 per day! WOW, to think when I started the UBC in January 2016 I was averaging around 75 views per day! I started out slow but I have pulled away from the starting gate, learned so much from other bloggers and also from my trials and errors. I have always loved a challenge and I’ve determined to complete what I start. This is my 19th continuous Ultimate Blog Challenge that I have completed since joining in January 2016.
The entire 2020 year has seen a great improvement so that tells me that the more you post, the better your stats. Since completing the April Ultimate Challenge I completed a Song of the Day challenge in May, a Color of the Day challenge in June and now the July Ultimate Challenge. That’s 122 blogs for the challenges plus I wrote double blogs on some days, giving me a total number of blog posts 147 since April. I know the stats will drop and get back to “normal” and my goal for the next two months is to post at least 2 blogs per week and Lia will post her Friday Story Time! But now I have another challenge. My next challenge is to reach 10,000 views per month! I think I can do that in a challenge month. How cool if it would be October since that will be my 5th year anniversary with the Ultimate Blog Challenge! Yes, that will be my new challenge! Can I do it, will I get to 10,000 views in a Ultimate Blog Challenge month? I’m sure going to give it a try!
Lia and I were on a roll and just couldn’t stop! I decided to see what my top blog views were from April through July and coming in first was Lia Says Please Wear a Mask
My second most popular viewed blog was My Little Oster Chopper. Both these blogs feature Lia so this proves my point, she is irresistible!
I have had help with my blogging partner who has stolen the show on so many blogs! Lia the Baby Blogger has started her Friday Story Time by Lia and I’ve seen a big jump in views on the days she posts. It might be because of her fun loving stories, her mouth watering recipes, creating a garden or maybe it’s her infectious smile. At almost 2 years old maybe it’s because she has determination and drive just like her GGmama! All I know is she’s stealing the show! Since Lia is a big part of The Martha Review I have updated my Gravatar. What to you think, do you like it?
I hope to see many of you sticking around the UBC site and posting during the off challenge months. That way you’ll be ready for the next challenge! I’ve had a blast this last challenge and already looking forward to seeing you all back in October!
Lia definitely steals the show on some of the blog posts!! And Martha, I am just amazed at your success in getting all those views. I think I will make 10,000 my ultimate goal, too, though that may take me a few years. And maybe I should look for some more challenges to participate in – where do you find out about them? Just Google 30-day blog challenges? I guess I’ll start there. Congratulations on finishing another challenge!
I enjoyed your monthly blogs again Jeanine! Depending where your stats are, set an easy goal so you don’t get frustrated. On the next challenge month, check your stats from July and make a goal of say 200 views more. then work your way up to your ultimate goal. You can do it!
Congratulations fantastic AMAZING. great writings
Thanks for the cheering on Rich! You know I enjoy writing!
I plan to be there in October to help you reach your 10,000 goal. In the meantime, I will blog about 3 times a week as I redirect my old posts and add new articles that are aimed more in the direction my lifestyle is going. I need to find out how you get your stats so that I can find mine and set goals to beat them. Of course, I might want to borrow Lia to give me a hand reaching them.
Thank you so much Chef William! I’ll be checking out blogs between now and the next challenge. Lia will probably try a few more of your recipes! Do you have WordPress? If you PM me I’ll try to help you find your stats.
I’m so proud of you! Keep up the hard work.
Thanks Amanda, I enjoy blogging!
