Checking April Stats
WOW, the Ultimate Blog Challenge isn’t wasting time going by, we’re already 20 days into it! I’ve been so busy that I missed checking April stats half way through! So here they are, five days later!
I started the April challenge with 99,393 views and 6,055 comments. When I realized I was close to hitting 100,000 views I was hoping I could reach my goal in this challenge month. I was excited when I not only reached 100,000 views in only 10 days into the challenge, but I was able to get a screen shot of the number! This is the blog I wrote about my 100,000 milestone which also happens to be the blog with the most views for the month:

Now almost another 10 days have passed since reaching my milestone so I decided to check my stats again. This screenshot was taken early afternoon on day 19 and I’m excited to see how they have gone up. For the first 10 days, I had 607 views and 78 comments. The next 9 days I jumped to 939 views and 104 comments.
Coming in 2nd for the most views was the first blog of the month:

Rounding out the top 3 in views is:

I started my blog on Christmas day 2014 but moved over to my own domain and hosting in April 2016. The past 3 years I have watched it grow but it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you who view, read, comment, share, like and follow my posts! So a big hug and thank you to all!
The most exciting addition to my blog so far this month is when my 7 month old great granddaughter joined in the blogging world! Lia Faith has her own category on my blog, Lia’s Likings The Baby Blogger and I’m having fun videoing her on some of her blogs. My favorite is a video her mommy took when Lia met a baby in the mirror and was giving her kisses, this post got 73 likes!

I will continue my climb to the top for the next 10 days of the April Ultimate Blog Challenge so stay tuned for my blog update when I post about checking April stats for the last 10 days! Until then, I’ll blog on!
Martha,
Congrats. That’s quite impressive for the challenge. Motivation to continue for sure.
Thanks Debi, I am persistent when it comes to any challenge. But the stats wouldn’t be there without people like you who read and share them! Thanks for visiting again!
This challenge is fun and exciting to be a part of. I’m so happy to have met you through it.
I found this challenge in January 2016 and have completed each one since. It’s fun to meet new bloggers and see what niche they have. Happy that you joined in and met you also Bonnie!
WOW! Your Stats are amazing, but not surprising as you continue to come with great blogs and pics, I only started my Blog in March and the lady who got it up for me told me about this challenge. So my stats are pretty barren. But maybe by the next blog challenge they will be up a bit. Enjoy your blog, I do!
Thanks Douglas, I stumbled onto this challenge in January 2016 (started my blog a year prior) and have completed each challenge since joining. You’re doing great for just starting last month, by the next challenge in July, you will be able to track you stats! I’m following your blog now too!
Very inspiring post Martha, congratulations on your climb to the top. You look fab in your 70 years of being awesome shirt! X
Thanks Dee, I am enjoying this challenge again and also my 70th year!
Truly inspirational X
Thanks Dee, I wouldn’t have been able to reach these stats without my wonderful readers following me!
You are doing great. Just goes to show what consistency will do. For a long time I struggled with what I wanted my blog to be about. Right now I’ve settled on living life to the fullest and/or living life as a widow. Hopefully this time the challenge will take and the posts will become more regular and consistent. Cause, consistency is the key. 🙂 By the way, loved the photo of Lia and you in your purple shirt.
That’s the answer Nita, consistency and also for me it’s determination. I love a challenge and when I started my blog it was mainly for product reviews. I’m so glad I followed the quote I live by, “if you want to explore deeper oceans, you first have to leave sight of the shore.” My blog as now turned more into life styles. We just need to keep blogging away, one dzy at a time. Thanks for visiting!
Not surprising at all, Martha, and your consistency and determination make you one of those people who inspire me :).. I am playing catch up again this time… but hopefully will end it right
Aww thanks Vidya! I like to be positive and when I set me mind to a challenge, I’m persistent and determined to give it my all. You’ll catch up, you can be as determined as I am!
