Awesome Christmas

Guess what day it is? If you said Friday Story Time by Lia you are correct! I wanted to tell you about the wonderful Christmas I had! A few weeks ago I wrote about Making a Snowman Ornament for my mommy, I love making her presents. But today I’m sharing some of my awesome Christmas presents I got!

When I came downstairs Christmas morning, there was a lot of presents piled on an old sled that belonged to my great great grandfather! I think Santa left them there! I got to hand out the packages and it was so much fun! Look at mommy and me, we having matching jammies and we even have matching moccasins!

I love doing jigsaw puzzles and I received some big girl puzzles! I figured them out right away, they were so much fun! I’m learning the alphabet and numbers too. Look at the cool letter puzzle, I match the letter with the picture and I also have one for numbers.

Did I ever tell you I love M&M’s? Pop has them hidden in his pocket and he gives me one when I’m extra special good. Oh that’s all the time he says! Well look at the M&M plate and glass I got. There were even little boxes of M&M’s in the box!

But my best present was a new car! Yes I got a purple McLaren and a pink cowgirl hat! Isn’t that a neat combination to go out riding? A cowgirl riding her horse…..power!

Christmas morning it was so cold but I wanted to take my new car for a spin. It has a leather seat and even has a seatbelt that I hook as soon as I get in the seat. It also has a horn, lights, a jack for an MP3 player and lots of power!

The next time I went for a drive it was a bit warmer and I went over to visit my neighbor. Cars were driving by and would stop or beep their horns. One neighbor has a Mustang and asked me if I wanted to race him. I told him I needed a bit more practice on the gas petal.

These are just some of the things that were under the tree or on the sled. I love toys that help me learn and I got lots of them. But Christmas is still here! The other day I got a baking set in the mail from my great Aunt and yesterday I had a fluffy little puppy great me at the door. She even matches my robe!

I received so many awesome Christmas presents but the other part I love is making presents for others and see them smile when I deliver them. Mama and me made lots of bread, cookies, cake and candy and we took them around to the neighbors. Yes we both wore our masks, mine is a Christmas one made by a wonderful neighbor. This is my Christmas Eve Deliveries blog I wrote last week. http://themarthareview.com/christmas-eve-deliveries/ I love making people happy and smile, I can’t wait until I can give my friends a hug again when I share my goodies!

Thanks for visiting my Friday Story Time blog, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and stay tuned for some exciting things coming up from Lia the Baby Blogger!

Lia says thank you Nancy! I also have an old trunk from great great grandfather that I’m using to store Lia’s memory items and blogs I’m printing out. It will be like a time capsule with things added until she’s 18.
