Wordless Wednesday Window Birds
Today I’m sharing some photos of my Wordless Wednesday window birds! Alexandra and Lia give me this window bird feeder last year, I think for Mother’s Day, but could have been my birthday. It took the birds almost 6 months before they eventually came to the feeder. All last year we had a few now and then but since the past three months, the doves, cardinals and wrens are here morning, noon and night! I love watching them and it looks like they are watching me. It’s been said that doves and cardinals appear when those who have passed are with us in spirit and I believe that. I hope you enjoy my little bird family.
Be sure to stop by Monday and I’ll tell you about my little window camera!
This dove appears on our patio right next to the slider door daily! It so peaceful watching the birds and I hope you think so to while visiting my Wordless Wednesday window birds.
Now I’m sharing a few words to tell you about this video. The dove was waiting on top of the feeder for the cardinal to finish but he was taking to long so the dove flew in and away flew the cardinal!
Loved the wordless post today. I think you have had a special visitor indeed. Our loved ones do show up in all types of birds. So glad that your bird window has become a popular spot. What a wonderful way to view nature upclose!
Thank you Anne. I truly believe that cardinals and doves are signs from our loved ones and it has to be because they have shown up every day since Rich went to heaven. I know he is guiding his family.
Oh I seriously love this window bird feeder! How great to be able to watch birds that way. That was definitely a very thoughtful gift!
I love watching our backyard birds Ronda and it’s like they are almost in the living room when they use the window feeder. Alex knew I loved birds and yes very thoughtful.
they took turns. i love it. i’m assuming it’s attached to your window since it’s called a window birdhouse vs the bird house has windows.
Yes Lisa, it has a sticky backing and I was surprised how it strong it is even when the birds are “discussing” who gets to go first. LOL
Awesome photos and video, Martha. We have robins nesting in our grapes. Hope we didn’t scare them away.
How cool is that Lily! Hope they save you some grapes!
Martha, WOW, you get a lot of different birds! This is the first time I’ve seen a clear bird feeder. Do you have to wash it? Love and hugs–Kebba
It’s really neat Kebba! Yes it’s easy to wash, the tray comes out and it even helps to wash the slider door window! LOL I love watching our birds on the feeder and the little ones on the ground picking up the seeds that fall from the feeder.
Oh how nice!! Double reminders that loved ones are with you.
Yes Jeanine, they definitely prove that our loved ones are near.
Your birds are adorable 💖
I have also heard of certain birds appearing and embodying the spirit of a deceased loved one.
We recently had baby birds hatch whose parents had nested in our blind box. The window sill now needs to be cleaned of bird poop 😉
Thanks Tamara, I love watching all the birds. How cute to have baby birds!
Because doves mourn “Ooohhh, poor you” and cardinals sing “Cheer, cheer, cheer!”
I love watching these birds come togehter at the feeder Priscilla.
The Birds are so pretty and I love sitting outside our Townhome and watch the Birds. I can’t wait to find a Birdbtaht for her and Bird Feeders for David to hang up for Charlie and I. Before we moved I had a Red headed Woodpecker that liked to come and talk to me. I miss him so much.
Something about birds, they are so relaxing to watch and take my stress away. Sometimes I wish I could be a bird and just fly around with not a care in the world. I love the window feeder that Alex and Lia gave me!
