WORDLESS WEDNESDAY – PRAYERS FOR ALEXANDRA
WORDLESS WEDNESDAY – PRAYERS FOR ALEXANDRA
This beautiful prayer quilt was made from a local church and has so many wonderful prayers and healing messages written on the back. When Alexandra saw it was so excited since she recognized many of the fabrics that had actually been used at our shop when she was younger. It was so much fun pointing out the ones she remembered from years back.
I look forward to you describing her healing while happily ensconced in her new quilt
So do I Roy! We haven’t heard from the neuro surgeon yet, so he’s still working on her. After he closes up, the lung surgeon will open her in another area and do his work. Her surgical team explained everything, now we just wait. Thanks for stopping by Roy.
awesome post and many prayers
Thanks Tabetha, Alexandra is such a fighter and she will fight hard to get well. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Tabetha. Sometimes pictures say more than words. The prayers from so many and the quilt were with her when until she went up for surgery. Thank you so much for your prayers.
I have been thinking of you and your family all day, what a long day for you all! I feel like I know her through your posts. I pray for a quick and smooth recovery for Alex. Please keep us updated on her progress. Love to you and your family.
Yesterday was a long day, with her almost 12 hour surgery but I know with all the prayers and love that she has received from her large extended family, we were able to get through the day. The day after was very rough, but that is to be expected. Tomorrow should hopefully be a less painful day for her. Thanks for stopping by and sending your love and prayers Jennifer.
Aw, that quilt is really nice.
Is someone going to stitch all those names in. That way she can wash and use the quilt? I ask because my stepmom did it for a member of the family. Upon the family member passing the quilt was passed down to another family member. It became a family heirloom to be passed down to the next one. With names added as the years go by.
Wow, I never thought of that Sandy, what a great idea! I could do that in my spare time if I every find any. But if I chip away a few at a time, it could get down over time. Thanks for that great tip!
