Winter Roses for Wordless Wednesday
As the temperatures dip to freezing in some areas, our roses in South Carolina are still blooming. These are a few shots of Lia’s winter roses for Wordless Wednesday. As for the temperatures dipping, we are on a road trip today to Indiana where the temps will be quite different than here! I wonder if I can find roses or other flowers to photograph on our trip.
That’s it short and sweet, hope you take time throughout your day to stop and smell the roses or other flowers in your area!
These photos are really great! When I first started my blog I had a photography series because I am a passionate photographer…I work very much to improve my skills and, if not credited, all the photos on my blog are mine. I have not worked on that series anymore because I focus more on the beauty/fashion luxury posts and wanted to stay on the niche as ,much as I can but I adore taking photos of nature and especially roses… I think I have over 200 roses in my laptop right now. I would love to have a Wondeftull wendensday series on my blog with pictures only, but I have to see what will be appropriate for my niche.
Oh Sinziana, I’d love to see some of your beautiful roses. Maybe you could incorporate some photos with your fashion or take a day off from your niche for another type of beauty for Wordless Wednesday.
Absolutely beautiful! I used to live near Charleston. It was always so nice throughout the year with the roses and flowers everywhere. Thank you for the memory.
Awwww, glad the photos brought happy memories for yo Marcie!
I am always amazed with your garden Martha. To see roses this time of year is a blessing.
Thanks Brenda! I love our roses and Rich has been busy talking to them.
Those roses are lovely! My daughter keeps asking is to plant some roses. Maybe we will!
Thank you Dominique, we have so many rose bushes, I love them. Lia and her mommy love purple, I’d love to add a purple rose bush to her garden.
Hopefully, they will still be around when you return. Have a great trip (in your new vehicle, to boot).
They should Roy, our weather isn’t as bad as yours! We made it up to Indiana in about 13.5 hours, had to take a half hour lunch break for Lia! The car did great and gas mileage was double what we got on the truck! Keep warm my friend!
Aww, pretty! i feel like I need a Smell App for visiting your blog. Cinnamon bread, roses,… what will it be tomorrow?
You were at the right place at the right moment, too to catch the butterfly 🙂
I’ve always said I wish we had a smell-a-vision Tamara! They do smell so good!
You gave me an idea for a post Martha .What a beautiful collection of roses.
Thwts great Amrita. I get ideas for other blogs also!
Beautiful flowers and enjoy your trip and the time with your Grandson. Stay warm and be safe driving. Come home soon as I’m sure it’s cold there and don’t forget to visit Texas with Lia and Snowball.
OMG it was freezing in Indiana Glenda! But it was great to see Zac!
Those Roses are so pretty.
Thanks Amanda, I love seeing beauty in any form and our roses are so special.
Rich sure has magic in him for the roses to be blooming so.. While some of our roses are also budding and blooming, I am guessing it is because the weather has been sunny and then chill and then warms up again.. and…
I love seeing all our roses in the middle of winter Vidya. It’s getting colder so waiting to see what happens to the buds.
