William’s Fat Bombs
I haven’t been following any particular diet plan since I changed my eating habits in July 2018, just trying to eat healthy after being diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I met a new blogger to the Ultimate Blog Challenge who shares so many delicious KETO recipes. I really had never looked into this plan but once I started following Chef William’s page, I was amazed to find so many recipes that seemed like normal everyday ones! The one that really caught my eye was William’s FAT BOMBS! They are made with cacao powder, peanut butter and coconut as the main ingredients! You have to check out his recipe, it’s so easy but also very rich so you don’t need more than one to satisfy your sweet tooth. https://yourwholefoodschef.com/peanut-butter-coconut-cocoa-fat-bombs
As soon as I read William’s post, I had to try the recipe even before I left a comment on his blog! They were so easy and didn’t take hardly any time at all! After adding the ingredients, I rolled them in balls but this is where I deviated a bit from the original recipe. I not sure if it stayed in line with Keto but they sure are delicious!
A few I rolled in chopped pecans while others I rolled in the shredded coconut. I did leave some plain or pop a pecan on top.
I put them in the freezer for about 15 minutes to “set” the Fat Bombs. After finding the right size storage containers, I put them back in the freezer and can take one out at a time when needed for a little treat.
These Keto FAT BOMBS are the BOMB!!!! They are delicious, definitely fulfill your sweet tooth and still follow the Keto diet plan!
I’m so glad Chef William joined in the Ultimate Blog Challenge and shares so many delicious recipes. I also follow his FB group for even more recipes and information on his healthy eating plan. https://www.facebook.com/groups/YourKetoChef/
Almond Joy Bars
When I was looking for sweet treats after starting my healthy eating, I made some “faux” almond joy bars. I’m not sure if they fit in the Keto plan but like the FAT BOMBS they are SO rich that one piece is more than enough to satisfy your chocolate craving. I didn’t have an almonds so I substituted hazelnuts. Talk about another delicious treat, here is the recipe! http://themarthareview.com/organic-almond-joy-bars/
Thank you Chef William for your delicious FAT BOMB recipe!!!!
