Wiley Wallaby Licorice Tasting Party

I was one of the lucky 100 people chosen to host a Wiley Wallaby Licorice Tasting Party sponsored by Tryazon. I love licorice but never tried Wiley Wallaby Licorice and was I pleasantly surprised by how many flavors they have and how delicious it is!

When the box of supplies arrived Lia excitedly helped my unbox the packages. The box was loaded with packages of different flavors of delicious licorice. After everything was unboxed Lia put them all in a line with my mouth watering.

Wiley Wallaby Licorice is different from any licorice I have had. The bite size pieces are solid licorice, soft and chewy plus comes in a variety of delicious flavors. They even have Organic licorice bites.

To get the tasting party ready, Lia helped by putting the different licorice flavors in small cups. Each row had a different flavor and we put the bags that corresponded with the flavors behind the tray. She filled a row of Huckleberry, Watermelon, Sourdrageous drops, Blueberry/Pomegranate, and Green Apple licorice on one tray. The other tray had the two organic bites free from artificial colors and flavors, made with sustainable palm oil, organic can sugar and free from high fructose corn syrup. The organic bites are also free of GMO’s, eggs, dairy, and tree nuts. One was a mouth watering Tropical flavor made with real fruit juice. The other bag of organic bites is Strawberry. Lia put a row of each in the small cups and then added another row of the regular Strawberry classic red. This way our guests could taste each and see which they prefer.

Once our guests arrived we mingled while munching on a few snacks. The party was at 1PM so I decided since it wasn’t meal time I would serve healthy finger snacks. I made my delicious homemade trail mix, had a few different varieties organic crackers and for those with a sweet tooth, there were brazil nuts with chocolate to dip them in.

By now the guests mouths were watering from looking at all the different samples. Lia told each one what flavor they were as she handed the samples out. Look how excited Sue and Judy were when the saw all the different flavors.

After sampling the Wiley Wallaby licorice the guests were all giving their opinions as to which they liked the best. They were all in agreement that this was the best licorice they have ever had and it was solid licorice, not just a tube with nothing in the middle. This licorice has the best taste and while it’s soft and chewy it doesn’t stick to you teeth!

My guests were doubly excited when they each took home a package of their favorite flavor! Judy and her son loved the blueberry/pomegranate and Sue loved the watermelon! Kane loved them all but his favorite was the sourrageous drops and Alex and Lia said the huckleberry hit their taste buds. Rich’s favorite was the classic red and mine was all of them! I especially like the Organic tropical flavor but I could eat them all! The bags are resealable so it’s easy to take a few out as a snack and reseal the bag to keep them fresh. But like Kane mentioned, there might not be any left once he starts eating his bag of sourrageous drops!

Everyone enjoyed snacking on the refreshments, chatting with each other and the best part was sampling all the different flavors of this delicious Wiley Wallaby Licorice. As the party was winding down Lia handed out bags of individually wrapped licorice that she put together from the a large assorted bag of Wiley Wallaby licorice. With three different flavors of classic red, green apple and blueberry/pomegranate gives you a choice for your taste buds. Lia was an excellent hostess helper at my Wiley Wallaby Licorice party and this will definitely be my licorice of choice!
