Where Would YOU Like To Travel
The days are winding down on the Ultimate Blog Challenge, only four more days! This has been an exciting month of blog challenges, some I use the suggested topic but other times I have my own ideas. Today, I’m going with the hosts topic of Where Would You Like To Travel. While most people probably dream of going to some exotic place or a foreign country, I think more simple.
My hubby and I love the mountains but living in an ocean town, the mountains are few and far between. So send us to the mountains and we will be in our glory. It’s so peaceful while we drive up to the top of the mountains, our favorite is Great Smokey Mountains in Cherokee, North Carolina. It’s the perfect get-away just to view God’s beautiful creations .
When we get to the top of our quiet place, there is so much beauty. It’s breathtaking to just gaze out, smell the clean fresh air and and the fragrance of the wild flowers.
This is one of the most awesome places to visit and looking down from the top is where I get some awesome photographs.
So while some are excited to travel the world, just take me to the mountains where the clear streams flow, the flowers smell beautiful, the pine trees are a plenty and the scenic views are breathtaking. So when someone asks me Where Would You Love To Travel, I have to say the mountains of course! Checkout this website for some awesome sites when traveling through the Great Smoky Mountains in Cherokee, NC.

great photos, I love Cherokee, NC!!! Mine is Hawaii!!! Definitely on my travel bucket list 🙂
Thanks Jennifer, I love the beauty of the entire area. To some it might not seem like an exciting place to travel, but since you know the area, you know the beauty and tranquility! Hawaii would be awesome for photos!! Let me know when you get there. Thanks for stopping by.
My favorite place is southwestern Virginia, not far north from where these pictures were taken…and I look forward to seeing more of these springtime images here, again!
You will definitely see more Priscilla. We had hoped to get up to see the changing of the leaves but that didn’t fit in our schedule. Early spring is so beautiful too so we’ll have to plan that! Thanks for visiting and glad you enjoyed the photos.
I have a condo in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The fall foliage is spectacular looking out from a mountain top. But I love going there in the winter with knee deep snow and when temperatures can reach -25 degrees.
Sounds beautiful Steve! We miss the upstate NY fall and winter seasons!
