Where Did January 2020 Go?

Where did January 2020 go?? It seems like the Ultimate Blog Challenge just started and now we are celebrating the completion of writing 31 blogs in the month! I started this challenge in January 2016 and have completed everyone since then and hope to continue for many more challenge months! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS!! Even if you haven’t quite met your goal of 31, I think you are all winners for working on this challenge!!!

It’s been another wonderful challenge with super participants sharing so much in their blogs. I have learned from the different blogs, sometimes things I hadn’t even thought of! I’ve traveled to so may places all around the world without leaving my couch office. The bloggers that share their travels, whether it be right here in the US or across the oceans, make me feel like I’m right there with them just by seeing the breath taking photos. I’ve expanded my knowledge on technology, history, medicines and found some interesting crafts and delicious recipes. There are have happy and humorous blogs mixed in with heartbreaking ones. But whatever the topic we are all there for whoever needs a hug, a smile or a laugh.

The group of bloggers that write over the month for this challenge are all so special to me. They not only write excellent blogs but they read, comment, share and like blogs written by the other participants.

When I started the challenge in January 2016 I never dreamed of having my stats grow like they are. This January chart shows each year and the number of visitors I’ve had. Heck, I didn’t even know much about blogging since I had just stated my blog on December 25 2014. I’ve learned as I go, I’m determined to figure things out and when it comes to a challenge, I have to complete it, it’s a personal challenge as well as a group challenge. Something in me won’t let me quit!

So thank you to all the followers of The Martha Review blog whether we have been friends since the beginning or you are new to the challenge. But just because the challenge is over doesn’t mean you have to close the cover of your laptop until the April challenge. No it means keep writing and posting on the site for everyone to continue reading your blog. I look forward to reading your blogs between now until the next challenge in April and I hope to write at least a few blogs per week. Of course I’m sure Lia the Baby Blogger will be sharing some of her exciting adventures on her Friday Story Time and I HAVE to share photos on WORDLESS WEDNESDAY!

I’m also planning on a give-away coming up in March for an adorable Mama’s Minky blanket. (Baby not included 🤣) My granddaughter’s and my birthday are in March so that will be a perfect time! Be sure to check back the beginning of March for that!

I hope you have enjoyed some of my silly blogs, my serious ones, my recipes and photographs plus Lia the Baby Blogger posts! Of course I can’t close out this chapter of the January Ultimate Blog Challenge without a big thank you to the promoter and host, Paul T. who puts in endless hours planning and making this challenge run smooth, sending out daily blog suggestions and even giving free webinars for the participants! So I tip my hat to Paul once again!! Until the next challenge keep writing, keep sharing your excitement and keep well!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Thanks, Martha, I hope to be around and plan to be sharing articles one or two times a week from now until the next challenge. And I will continue to watch for your articles during that stretch. I have a few more fat bomb recipes to share as well and I hope you will give them a try.

  3. So glad I got to read and comment on this post, Martha. Darn it! I forgot there’s a completion badge I could put on my blog. I’ll be sure to follow your blog, even in between the challenges. I don’t want to miss any of the Lia posts. She’s SO precious! I know you enjoy every minute with her. And check out your site stats. Impressive for sure! I need to start collecting my stats like that.

Yes, don’t forget your badge Aletha! Papa and I enjoy Lia so much, she is a little clone of her mommy! I enjoy watching my stats especially on challenge months, it’s cool to see the changes! We had a great challenge but now we have to blog on until April!
