When God Called Mom Home

When God Called Mom Home

momangel

We are a gift from up above,

God sent us down with all his love.

There comes a time that he will say,

I need you home with me today.

All the memories of the past,

Forever in our hearts will last.

mom

We cherish all the memories

That you have left behind.

For in our hearts we hold you,

Sweet, loving and so kind.

This is a poem I wrote when my mom passed away 10 days before her 80th birthday on January 15, 2000.  I miss her so much but hold tight all the wonderful memories she left with me.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Yes, our mom’s had a wonderful friendship and I loved your mom! I still have all the memories of my Brownie and Girl Scout years with your mom. She was a special person indeed. Thanks for visiting my blog Carol!
