What Motivates You?
We are up to day 10 on the Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge and the topic is What Motivates You. People are motivated for different reasons but for me I have a few things that motivates me.
Many of my readers already know what motivates me… it’s a challenge! I get motivated whether it be the challenge of completing a project by a certain time frame or coming up with a creative idea. But it’s the monthly blog challenges that motivate me the most!
When I started my blog Christmas day 2014 I was averaging about 35 views per day for the year of 2015. I was writing between 15 to 20 monthly blogs and they were mostly on product reviews. Being a new blogger I was happy with how my stats were going. Starting in January 2016 I began four blog challenges a year with the Ultimate Blog Challenge. My stats for that year almost doubled! They continued to increase steadily each year and I contribute that to the blog challenges. They motivate me and I can see the results in my stats. The more blogs I write the more views they receive and my stats rise.
But 2020 was the BIG ONE! I completed the January blog challenge then the April challenge. But it’s what happened after April when I was on a roll. Since April I’ve completed 5 blog challenges in a row, when I finish the Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge for September I will have written about 200 blogs and finished 6 BLOG CHALLENGES IN A ROW!!
I was excited when I reached over 9,000 views for the month of July. But then in August I completed another blog challenge plus wrote double blogs on some days. When I checked the August monthly views, I had reached 13,598 views and over 200 views per day. This is all because of those who visit my blog and share to other social sites where they are then shared over and over.
Can you imagine how excited I was to see 13,598 views? I love a challenge and once I start I keep motivated to finish it! I have September challenge to complete then on to the October Ultimate Blog Challenge again!
Writing my blog, learning new ideas, coming up with creative ideas and reaching goals are challenges that motivate me. But my viewers also motivate me when they view, comment and share my blogs. Thank you all for being a part of where my stats are today! So what motivates you?

Keep writing. What motivates me is the dream of one day having a great career.
Your dream will come true Amanda! Hugs to you.
I enjoyed finding out what Motivates you and C is working on challenges for the last three months and I can’t wait to see what they are as he will not tell me. For me motivation is knowing I might have been able to help someone with what I write. Or find a resource they need or a place to visit.
Oh my, I can’t wait to see Charlie’s challenges! I also can’t wait to read his blogs Glenda!

Thanks Vidya, I was totally surprised when I checked my stats. I’m glad I help motivate you.
