Welcome to Day 22 of the October Ultimate Blog Challenge

/

Happy Saturday to all my readers!   I’ve made it past the three-week mark of the October 2016 Ultimate Blog Challenge and so far so good!  Some people say that when you do something for 21 days, it becomes a habit. I have enjoyed blogging since I started in December 2014 and thinking back, I don’t think I missed many days when I didn’t post at least one blog.  Is this a habit? I’m not sure but when something comes up and I can’t post, I usually double up the following day.  When I set my mind to something, it becomes my own personal challenge. So, I guess you could say blogging is habit-forming to me!

First of all, thanks for coming to my blog and reading my UBC posts but I have a favor to ask of you! Now that you are here, what would you like to know? What question would you like answered? It can be anything (within reason) and if I don’t know the answer, I’ll try to research it and get the answer.  Go on, Ask Me Anything in the comment section of this blog. Tomorrow, I will select one or two (or a few questions) and answer them for you! So, leave a comment below and ask me a question! Thanks!

Hope you all have a great weekend and get thinking of a question so I can get my brain working on answers!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

How did you get started with your business?

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the question. My grandmother was a dressmaker and since she lived with us when I was growing up, I always watched and helped her. I never had any formal training but picked up her gift early. That started me doing alterations and dressmaking when I graduated from high school, right after I married my sweetie. It just mushroomed to all types of sewing and about 25 years ago we settled in on the interior decorating treatments. I enjoy that aspect so much! Thanks for stopping by.
