I posted about the pizza I made and the delicious no-bake cookies for our Deflecto Clean up the Clutter party but I didn’t mention the turkey wraps until Ma posted about our successful Deflecto party. Some of the readers were asking about them so I thought I would tell you how quick and easy they are to put together for my Friday Story Time by Lia.

Turkey wraps are quick and easy to make, each wrap takes: 1 flour tortilla, 2-3 thin slices of turkey, 1 1/2 slices American cheese, ranch dressing, lettuce. You can also add crumbled bacon to them.

Lay the tortilla flat, add a piece of lettuce with the turkey layered on top. Next squirt ranch dressing on the turkey and add the cheese. I used one whole piece and cut another piece in half to fill up the tortilla. If you want to add bacon add that on top of the cheese. Carefully roll the tortilla so all the ingredients are rolled together inside. Cut in about 1″ slices and refrigerate until ready to serve.

You can change the meat to ham, roast beef or whatever you like. These turkey wraps were a big hit at our get-together. They are also great to make for last minute guests or just a quick snack.

This is the last Friday Story Time by Lia for the month but don’t worry, I’ll be back next month with some exciting stories! Do you have any quick and easy recipes that you make for parties or a get-together? I hope you enjoyed my Turkey Wraps blog.

Hi Lia and Martha. Your turkey wraps look absolutely yummy. Thanks for sharing your recipe. One of my quick recipes for small get togethers is popping popcorn. I still have a small air popper from many years ago. Simply pour popcorn kernels into the top measuring cup, pour the kernels into the empty cylinder, and plug in the air popper. Be sure to place a large bowl underneath the opening where the popcorn chutes out. Watch the kernels turn into popcorn, and then enjoy eating it hot and fresh. I look forward to your next recipe.

YES Marc, popcorn is our go to favorite also! I have one of the air popper too and it has a little cup on top to put a pat of butter and it melts as the popcorn pops. Now you have me hungry for popcorn!

  10. Hi Lia, I am sorry I didn’t see this post on Friday, I don’t know how I missed your last post, my deepest apologies. I was also wondering about the wraps, thank you for sharing. I also like how you organize your pictures side by side, I have got to learn how to do that. Looking forward to your posts next month. This has been an exciting journey with you and your great grandma the last four weeks. I appreciate you two, sending lots of love and gratitude on this Memorial Day Weekend.
