It’s called a Nut Milk Bag but has so many uses.   The reusable, washable bag is a full 12′ by 12″ with a drawstring cord to close it. The seams are double stitched with the edge overlocked so no raveling of the fabric. The high quality food grade nylon cheesecloth is so much better than cotton cheescloth because there is no worry about the fibers of the bag getting into the food items.   If you are into making your own nut milk, it’s so easy, just add the nuts or seeds to your milk,  set the bag into a bowl and pour the milk into the bag.  After closing the bag with the drawstring cord, you have both hands free to squeeze the milk into the bowl. But there is another way I used this bag and that was to drain tuna in water.

When I open a can of tuna, it’s full of water and if draining it in the can with the lid, I lose half the tuna or the water doesn’t all remove.

With this bag, I added the tuna, squeezed the water out and was ready to make salad without have soggy tuna.    There are so many other things you can use this bag for including  nuts, fruits, vegetables and even making homemade juice.

When I wash the bag, I turn it inside out to make sure all food pieces are cleaned out and then rinse it well and let dry. Traditional Kitchen has a great product can be used for many different products. I received this nut milk bag in exchange for my honest and unbiased review and I like how easy it is to use, to wash and to store.

Good idea using it for your tuna. I’d like to throw a bunch of fruits in there and make a juice out of it!
