That looks yummy! How did you bake it in a plastic???? bowl??? Hard to believe you’ve been doing this blog almost 10 years?!!!!!

    • Martha says:

Hi Terry, yes TEN years and counting! I baked it in a silicone cake pan, we have lots of different silicone baking molds and they are easy to clean. All you have to do is set the silicone pan on a cookie sheet before putting it in the oven. Hugs to you and your family.

Martha, that looks so easy with so many options. I love the idea. Thanks for sharing.

That was my thought too Samantha! The ingredients can be changed to whatever people like. Maybe just make a veggie omelette or add sausage or chicken to it. So many ideas that come in my head.

Creative in the kitchen as always! I guess there are countless of varieties you could come up with!

    • Martha says:

Oh yes Tamara, so many ingredients could be used to make a totally different omelette. I’m thinking of making one with chicken next time!

  4. Yum!!! I love this idea. Easy to switch in different fillings, too.

  5. What a delightful and creative twist on a classic omelette, Martha! The photos are absolutely mouthwatering, and I love how you made the recipe easy to follow. This Tortilla Omelette is definitely going on my must-try list. Thanks for sharing such a delicious idea for Wordless Wednesday! (Did Lia help with this creation?)

Thanks for visiting Paul, this was delicious and the ingredients can be easily changed to your liking. I’m going to try it with chicken and it would also be great to just have a veggie omelette. Let me know if you try it! Oh and would you believe that I made this all by myself without Lia’s help? LOL She wasn’t here when I made this one but I was told next time she is making her own.

  6. Martha, how delicious and easy that looks! Can’t wait to see the recipe– like how did you actually cook it? (I tried to do Wordless Wednesday, but I was so fascinated by Wind Phones/Telephones of the Wind, that I had to talk about them. Oh well!)

It was so easy Kebba! I have a set of silicone tiered cake pans and used the smallest one. You need to find a pan about 1 1/2 inches smaller than your tortilla so it will have a “lip” around the edges. It could also be baked in a cast iron frying pan if you have the right size. Just need to have the lip around the edge so it’s like a little pie. I loved you Wind Phones and again your post came at the perfect time for me. Now I’m searching for a phone for my quiet place, I think I need that.
