Top Five of January 2020
This is my fifth year of participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge and I have met so many wonderful bloggers with each having their own style of writing. Some have a certain topic or niche they write about daily while others like me write about whatever enters their mind. That’s what I like about the UBC, we all have the same goal but our own way about getting there. I’m using today’s suggested topic and posting the Top Five Bloggers of January 2020. Now this is the hardest blog to write because they are ALL TOPS in my book!
These are in no particular order because has I said you are all wonderful bloggers and friends!
I’d like to welcome Nancy who is a first timer to the Ultimate Blog Challenge. Nancy entered a bit late but is working her way through! Be sure to check out her blog where she shares infomation on crafting and geneology. https://h2hsc2020.blogspot.com/
Since I started my healthy eating in July 2018 I’m always on the hunt for delicious, healthy meals. I don’t follow a particular diet plan but when I started reading the blog where William C. shares his Keto diet recipes, I was hooked! You can eat healthy but don’t have to be on a “diet”. Be sure to check out some of the awesome meals Chef William prepares. https://ourlifeinmexico.com/tag/keto-in-mexico/
Roy A. is a seasoned blogger of the UBC and I’ve been following him since I started the challenge. Roy is a wealth of information when it comes to taxes, technology and business management just to name a few. You will learn a bunch from his blog. https://www.adjuvancy.com/wordpress
I enjoy reading the stories that Caryn S. blogs about. She shares her thoughts and beautiful writings about those she love. http://carynschulenberg.com/
Karen S. is an inspiration to all! She shares, recipes, testimonials and programs and how she has lost 160 pounds. She definitely has a wonderful blog that you need to read. https://yourpoweryourhealth.com/
I enjoy reading everyone’s blog and I thank you for reading, commenting and shared my blog as well. That’s what I love about this challenge, we enter it without knowing the participants and end the challenge month with new friends that we follow throughout the next month and next year! Thank you Paul T. for putting this wonderful Challenge together, it is the best of the best and we couldn’t do it without you! https://digitalmaestro.com/
Happy Birthday Mom
Since today is my mom’s 99th birthday I can’t go without wishing her the best heavenly birthday. Mom left us on January 15, 2000 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. She is my rock and inspiration and while blogs weren’t even thought about when mom was with us, she loved to write. I’m sure that’s where I got the love of writing I have. One of my goals is to put a book together with some of the poems she wrote mingled in with some I have written. What a memory that would be to pass down through the generations. I love you mom and will see you again. This is a blog with a poem I wrote for mom two years ago.

This is so great – I haven’t come across some of these bloggers so I am excited to come back and visit them, thanks to your review. Also love the image you added – it feels like an invitation. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Thanks Julie, I took the photo from one of the walkways to the beach. I like using my own photos in my blog! I’ve enjoyed this challenge and reading your blogs also!
Thank you for the lovely comments about my blog Martha. I always enjoy reading your blog and seeing the pictures of you and your beautiful family. I’m happy to have made your acquaintance and I hope to continue reading all about your life beyond the challenge.
Ditto to you Karen, I so glad we connected through the UBC! Looking forward to continuing with your blog and then come April another challenge!!
Awww, beautiful! I love that you honored your mom on her recent birthday even though she’s not here physically, but she’s definitely with you spiritually. 🙂
In the middle of writing this blog it hit me that I must have received my gift of writing from my mom! She is always with me in spirit Aletha. Thanks for visiting.
Happy birthday to your mom! I can see your enthusiasm for life in your mom’s smile! We enjoy similar blogs! Your blog is fun to read, also! It’s not everyone who can get an eighteen-month-old kid to do the laundry! You’re one special grandparent!
We go a ways back Alice and we both love photograph! I get so excited when Lia does something “blog worthy” and she seems to spread smiles and happiness to many. That right there is worth my blogging. I’m sure my mom would adore Lia and while I may be a special grandparent, both Lia and her mom are an extra special granddaughter and great granddaughter. Thanks for visiting Alice!
Thank you so much Martha for the shout out! I enjoy reading your blogs on a daily basis and seeing your family through your eyes. Your photos are priceless, especially coming from a scrapbooker/genealogist viewpoint! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful day…
I’m so glad you joined in the challenge and I love your blogs Nancy. Looking forward to following you not just for challenge months but inbetween months also!!
Wow, Martha, thank you so much for the nice review. I have been in a few of these blog challenges over the years but for some reason, I’ve missed the past few. I have always enjoyed Roy A although I will admit he does challenge my brain often. I will be looking at the articles of all those you have mentioned. I really want to take a look at Karen S because, like me, she busted the 100-pound weight loss. I still have more to go but I will keep on and sharing the recipes as I go along. I think I will copy this idea and blog about 5 members of the challenge that I enjoy reading daily.
I’m so glad you took the challenge again Chef William! I’m loving the recipes you share and I also like to “doctor” recipes up. Yes Roy A can challenge my brain also!! Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to more of your delicious recipes!
agree with you on all these blogs..
Thanks for stopping by Vidya, I love a good challenge just like you!
Nice crowd! Thanks- even your mom joined the circle!
When writing this blog it came to me that my mom loved writing and that’s probably where I got my bit of writing from. She was so very special and I knew I had to have her join in Roy.
Another great blog post.
I had a great time doing the blog challenge Amanda!
