Raise your Hand and Ask Me a Question
Time has gotta away from me this past week with being down a few days with back problems and then with Lia and me baking and preparing for her Saturday morning fundraiser bake sale. When I’m grasping at straws to come up with a blog topic, I sometimes use previous suggested topics and that’s what I’m doing today. It’s time to raise your hand and ask me a question about anything. Well anything in reason.
My regular readers know a bit about how hubby and I owned and operated our interior decorating business for over 50 years before “retiring.” Many know that we still dabble in window treatments and also deliver for Uber and Door Dash.
Many know that Lia, my 4 year old great granddaughter has been blogging with me for almost all her life! They also know she loves to garden, do crafts, bake, draw and sew just to name a few of your favorite activities.
Both Lia and I are ready to have you ask us a question in the comment section of this blog and we will answer it by the end of the week. You never know, I may even turn a question into a blog topic!
So get your thinking cap on, it’s time to ask me a question or maybe you have one for Lia instead. Either is fine, we’ll be waiting for you to raise your hand and ask us me a question.
So awesome. You stay busy. I’ll ask a question…. What’s your biggest struggle as a female entrepreneur?
Thanks for the question Lisa! Since I started my business slow I didn’t have any struggle and I loved what I was doing so it didnt’ seem like “work” at the time. I think I’d have to say the biggest struggle was coming up with a price list for the products we fabricated. Great question, stay tuned for a blog about this topic.

Hey Lia,
You’re already a blogger, a gardener, and a chef. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Hi Florence, sorry this has taken so long to reply but with Lia in school all day it cuts into her blogging time. LOL So this may be a big surprise because it was to me also! I asked Lia what she wanted to be when she grew up and here is her reply. Lia said, (as she was “building” a Lego house) “I want to be a builder and make big houses!” The way she thinks and does things, I wouldn’t be surprised if she becomes an architect, she loves to design lego houses!
What’s your favorite Bible Verse? Why does it speak to you? Mine is “I can do all things through Christ.” Have a great week.
Beautiful verse Amanda. My favorite would have to be Isaiah 41.:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be mismayed, for I am your God……”
