THURSDAY TREE LOVE 18
I’m so glad I came across this weekly tree share blog. I am enjoying seeing the photos from others plus sharing mine. Some of the trees are unique, some have a story, while others have a special meaning to others. I’m excited to tell you about my Thursday Tree Love 18 for this week.
Last August, hubby and I drove from South Carolina to Vermont for our oldest grandson’s wedding. We stopped at the Bennington Vermont Welcome Center and the view for the back of the property was spectacular! Nothing but trees, mountains and more trees. Hubby immediately spotting this perfectly formed spruce tree, his favorite! While this tree is nothing special or a huge majestic tree, it is still beautiful. Now if you look past the trees, way in the distant, do you see the monument framed by the other trees? That is the Bennington Monument that can be seen far, far away. This is the tallest structure in Vermont and it commemorates the Battle of Bennington, the battle that was the turning point in the Revolutionary War. So along with my Thursday Tree Love 18, I have added a bit of history from the area of my tree photo this week.
Are you taking tree photos and posting them in the Tree Love? I’d love to see your trees, just leave your link in the comments below! If you haven’t joined it yet, it’s not too late. Just post your tree and be sure to add #ThursdayTreeLove so others can’t find you. Also be sure to visit http://happinessandfood.com/thursdaytreelove-18 for last weeks Tree Love.
