Throwback Thursday Finds

Today I’m sharing some Throwback Thursday finds I stumbled across 25 years ago!

I’ve been cleaning out the upstairs closet where I kept my craft supplies from back when we moved in this house in 2000. As I started sorting and tossing stuff I wondered why I saved so much then I came across these two items I made in the mid 90’s. The butterfly picture was from a calendar and I put in a frame, the rose I cut from a greeting card that I glued to the back of the glass then decoupaged around the rose. I haven’t seen these since I put them in the closet 25 years ago. How special is it that the underside of the butterfly is like the blue ones that flew on my hand in Cherokee and the rose is just like many that Rich always talked to. Just some little love signs from the past that mean so much now.

These both have a special place on my dresser now and I see them every evening and morning. I love you babe and know you are still with me.

“Little love signs from the past,” This is a great way to look at your finds. I love how you were able to recall other memories just from pictures you created many years ago. It’s an excellent testament to the power of the arts.
