The July UBC is a Wrap
The Ultimate Blog Challenge for July is ended and I didn’t give myself much hope in finishing but I did! Congratulations to everyone who participated in this challenge and a special thank you for our gracious host Paul for keeping it going. I’ve stumbled a lot this month but managed to post each day, this is my 39th consecutive UBC and while sometimes it’s trying, very trying, it’s also a great feeling knowing I completed another challenge.

I have enjoyed visiting and reading the many blogs from other participants and Lia and I thank you for visiting and reading ours. My goal for the next few months will be to get through replying to all the comments you have left. I will get it done and hopefully be on track for October.
The July UBC is a wrap and looking forward to seeing you all in the next challenge.
This is my poem I wrote years back that I like to post at the end of each UBC.

Friday Story Time by Lia

Hi everyone, I know it’s not Friday but it’s close to it! Today would have been my pop’s birthday and I wanted to give him a party. I got over to ma’s early morning and baked a white cake and decorated it with white frosting in the middle and chocolate around the edges. Then I added little gold stars and butterflies that are wafers so you can eat them.

We all blew the candles out together and everyone said the cake was delicious. I sure miss pop but when we see butterflies ma says that’s pop saying hi. I’m heading back to Indiana on August 9th and I’ll start 2nd grade on August 11! But ma and I will see you back in October.
