   I love the way the Bible puts it in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (one of my favorite scriptures):

   4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

   I’m friends with many couples who have crossed racial and ethnic lines to marry. I crossed an ethnic line myself. It’s what’s in the hearts that matters.

     Thanks Jeanine, when I see a picture or and idea, I love writing a poem about it and I thought the title was perfect for this one. I think my mom would be proud, she too wrote many poems.
