The First 15 Days
It’s been 15 days since I started the Ultimate Blog Challenge for January where you write a blog post each day. I have only been blogging since December 25, 2014 but excited to learn about new challenges so when I read about this one on Facebook, I jumped at the chance to join in. I started a few days late but made up for the days but doubling up on my writings. I just took a look at my stats and was amazed how my views and comments have jumped up since the last 15 days of December.

These are my stats from the beginning of December up to January 15th:
The first 16 days in December, the 1st through the 16th: 838 blog views with an average of about 52 views per day.
The last fifteen days in December, the 17th through the 31th: 749 blog views with an average of about 50 views per day.
The first fifteen days of January, the 1st through the 16th: 1130 blog views with an average of about 77 views per day.
Since I started the Ultimate Blog Challenge my views have increased on average by 22 views per day. I have also seen an increase in my comments and shares by others to their social sites.
This shows my stats for the entire month of December and only the first 15 days in January. For December I had 1587 views and in only 15 days in January, I’ve had 1140 views. I’m looking forward to seeing my final January stats at the end of the month.
I’m so excited to have found this challenge that is repeated in April, July, and October which I will definitely participate in.
You may have missed seeing information about the Ultimate Blog Challenge but it’s a great way to grow your blog and increase traffic, not to mention the daily email they send with great blogging ideas and meeting new bloggers. Those are great stats. I just started blogging around Thanksgiving. My stats are no where near yours. Congrats to you! I hope that I will be up there one day.
Gosh Beth, for just starting in November, your doing great! I love how your blog is set up and your posts are excellent! I started a year ago and never thought I would be where I am in only a year. I set personal goals as to how many posts I write. Last October as I was nearing 9000 views, my goal was to get 10,000 by the end of December. I ended up with 12,000! I love the blog challenges!
