Talking About Comments
The suggested topic the other day was to write about the top 3 or 4 posts that have received the most comments. A few days early I wrote about my blogs with the top views at the Half Way Point in April of the Ultimate Blog Challenge so today I’m talking about comments.
My post with the most comments was Peace and Tranquility which was the same one that had the most views. This was a Wordless Wednesday post filled with photos I took of various streams and rivers in the mountains of North Carolina.
There was a tie for second place between the 1st blog for April http://themarthareview.com/its-that-time-again/ and you guess it, my post about Living on What We Have. Nothing like posting about wanting Oreos and then next day my granddaughter brings me a Party Size package!
I had a tie for third place in comments also. Another Wordless Wednesday post where I shared Candid Shots of Lia on Easter had the same number of comments as Lia the Baby Blogger’s post Sharing My Hearts. This was a sweet post about Lia drawing hearts in our driveway and then she stood there waving to the neighbors as they drove by. Hoping this coronavirus will end soon so she can get back to sharing her love and smiles with visits.
So once again I owe a big thank you to all my viewers that left all the awesome comments on these and all my other blog posts. Can you believe we only have 9 days left in the April Ultimate Blog Challenge? It will be fun to check my end of the month stats. Until then, I’ll blog on!!
Your blog is such a joy for me. Martha, Lia reminds me of myself when I was little. It brings back such happy memories for me. Baking with my mother and grandmother. Best of all the special bond that I had with my grandfather. Evry time you share a photo of her and Rich that love comes pouring through.
That makes me so happy Brenda! When I started adding Lia’s blogs, I never realized they would get so much attention. She loves sharing her love and I’m glad the bring back special memories. Your grandfather must have been a wonderful, loving person.
Keep rocking those posts!
I’m rocking along thanks to all my great followers, you being one of them Kat!
Well, those were all standout posts of yours, so I am not surprised. But then, I love reading all of your posts! I will have to check to see which posts of mine got the most comments.
Thanks Jeanine, I like tracking my stats and comments.
Yes, I did see it this morning. It wasn’t until I posted mine that I was able to comment on it and so convenient to have it right above my post.
Thanks Doug, I’m pleased with my stats this challenge.
Congratulations on a good number of comments! It has been an interesting month!
Thanks Cindy, it’s fun to keep track of my stats.
Thanks Cindy! I’ve gotten behind again in replying to comments but catching up today1
I always love reading the comments folks leave- even the ones that are clearly spam!
Same here Roy, I check my spam since every now and then a legit one slips over there.
Great photos! Keep writing. 🙂
Thanks Amanda, I like to add photos to my blogs.
Hi there, I log on to your blog daily. Your humoristic style is awesome, keep it up!
Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored at work so I decided
to browse your website on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the info you provide here and
can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, awesome site!
Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem
to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something
to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to
let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you
get the issue solved soon. Cheers http://cars.com
Thanks for visiting Jane, I like to add a bit of humor and smiles!
