Sunrise Over the Ocean
Today is Wordless Wednesday and I’m sharing some photos I took yesterday of the sunrise over the oven. It was so beautiful and I’m still learning on my Nikon P1000 and taking photos when it’s not quite light out is very challenging to me. I have not edited any of the photos.
Are you ready to go see the sunrise? It’s very early and the path to the ocean is dark, so be careful where you walk.
The next three photos need a bit of explaining. This little pup was walking with his master with two other pups when he walked over to us and just sat down. He was the cutest little thing! You may remember the pier from a previous post where you can see the pier pilings that show where the pier use to be before a hurricane wiped it out. Well this is a picture from the other side!
I hope you enjoyed your beach walk to see the sunrise over the ocean. It was chilly but much warmer than a few weeks ago when we walked the beach in a sandstorm and freezing temps!
Rich and I love taking early morning beach walks, it’s so peaceful and this stop is at the very end of the beach where the Inland Waterway enters the ocean. We had a bird filled tree waiting for us when we got home! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Beautiful pictures Martha…thanks for letting me go for the sunrise walk with you.
I’m glad you enjoyed your walk with us Karen!
Love your pictures, thank you for sharing!
What time is sunrise at your place? Around here it’s still only getting light before 8am.
It’s so peaceful and beautiful watching this Tamera. We usually get to the beach around 6ish, sometimes sunrises different than it says. I think this day it started about 6:50
Martha, what very beautiful photos! Wow! How far do you have to go, to get to the beach? Thank you for sharing these!
It is so breathtaking to watch the sun rise over the ocean Kebba. We are about 10 drive, over the Intercoastal Waterway bridge and we’re there!
Those are beautiful pictures, Martha! I love that you guys take walks on the beach. And that sunrise was beautiful. Not sure I could get up in time for one, but if I did, it would be worth it if it looked like that.
It is so worth in Jeanine! We walk way to the point where there aren’t many people, just beautiful beach and ocean.
Stunning photos, Martha, I felt like I was there with you.
That was my goal Kimberly to make my readers feel like they were there with me.
I wish I had a Beach to walk along but your pictures make me feel like I am there as well. As for the Puppy he was so cute and I would have wanted to bring him home even though we don’t need anything dog.
I hoped my photos would make my readers feel like they were right there with Rich and me on the beach Glenda!
So pretty.
Thanks Amanda!
