Storm Brewing

I love taking pictures of clouds, they seem to tell a story. Last night I captured a beautiful cloud laced with the sun. But within 30 minutes, the clouds changed to a storm brewing. I thought these were perfect for WORDLESS WEDNESDAY! The last picture is of the cloud almost touching the ocean!

All these pictures were taken with my Google Pixel 6, some were taken through the car window as were were driving. Hope you enjoyed the storm brewing in the clouds.

I love to look at the sky. It tells a story. The story that your clouds are telling you is that a storm is coming!
Alas, clouds are notoriously hard to draw and paint, partly because the the lack of a definitive shape and partly because the sky keeps changing, making it hard to paint from life.
Life and art and clouds and storms are definitely an adventure!

  6. As a young girl, I would lay on my back in the grass and look up at the clouds on a warm day, such a lovely way to spend the day! Now as an adult, I like clouds of all kinds, but especially storm clouds.

Oh I remember doing that too Melynda! Many times I take pictures of the clouds and after looking at them again, I can see figures in them.

I love it when clouds are dark-right before it rains. It’s the best light I can see in. 🙂
