Sprinkled Pretzel Sticks
Guess who’s back with another Friday Story Time on a Sunday! I wanted to share one last recipe with you, it’s so easy and fun to make for Halloween! I made sprinkled pretzel sticks!
All you need to make these are pretzel sticks, candy melts, food coloring and sprinkles! We got a bag of long pretzels and also a bag of mini ones. Of course I had to try one before I started making them.
Ma helped me melt the white chocolate candy melts and then I added a drop of orange food coloring. After I mixed it up, I added a few more drops to make it a brighter orange.
I dipped the top of the pretzels in the melted chocolate and now it’s time to add the sprinkles. I love sprinkles so this was a fun project because I had a big jar of Halloween sprinkles! After I added the sprinkles I put them on wax paper to dry.
There was some left over melted chocolate so I mixed in some sprinkles and plopped it on wax paper and flattened it out. Of course I added more Halloween sprinkles on the top! Once it cooled and got hard it’s like eating a white chocolate candy bar. My sprinkled pretzel sticks were so fun and easy to make for a Halloween treat. Can you guess what I’ll be making for Christmas? If you said Christmas sprinkled pretzel sticks, you are right! Then for one of my Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Alzheimer’s Fundraiser I want to have a Unicorn bake sale so I can make these with pretty pastel colors of a Unicorn!
I hope you had fun watching me make these yummy pretzel sticks and now I’m on my way to a Halloween party . Have a Happy Halloween!
These are so fun! Unfortunately we canβt purchase these pretzel rods in Switzerland, only tiny, skinny ones.
Lia looks adorable π₯° Hope she has a great Halloween π
No pretzel sticks Tamara??? Kebba had a great suggestion, she said we could also use cookie sticks! Do you have them?
Your costume is amazing, Lia, hope you collect lots and lots of candy! π
Lia is a very cute witch. I thought she was going to make the pretzels from scratch. But this is way easier.
Now that she’s in school her baking time is limited. This project took about 15 minutes Lily!
Lia, thanks for the great idea for an easy and festive treat! I think we could also do that with cookie sticks? I hope by now you’ve had a great time at the party!
Oh we never thought about cookie sticks Kebba! That will be Lia’s and my Christmas project!
