Spiritual Sunday Thoughts

Today I’m sharing some Spiritual Sunday Thoughts that the Priest spoke about at Mass.

One message was about blindness as in the cover of the bulletin, a man talked to Jesus and wanted to see. But there is more than physical blindness and not being able to see, there is also Spiritual blindness. The Priest went on to say if you are spiritually blind you hear the truth but don’t see what it means. When you come to Jesus you are placing your faith in him as he opens your eyes to see the glory of God.

He also talked about the song from Johnny Nash from 1972, I Can See Clearly Now. In his song he sings about the dark clouds that had him blind are gone, the same as what the message in church today was.

The SUN rises in the sky. The SON rises before our eyes at the alter. This was the closing hymn today.

As I walked out of church I looked up and snapped this beautiful picture of the SUN peaking through the tree, but I knew the SON was right there also. May you all have a wonderful blessed day full of SUNshine while the SON watches over us.
