Spiritual Sunday Excitement

Today is not only Spiritual Sunday but it’s the day my daughter and son-in-law arrive for a visit! So I’m calling it Spiritual Sunday excitement.

In our bulletin this weekend, there was a Russian proverb…

“When you meet someone, you judge them by their clothes; when you leave them, you judge them by their heart.”

I never judge a person by their clothes and I hope know one would judge me that way either. But so many have a good heart and you can almost see that in so many immediately.

Excitement!!

Today around noon, Chris and Bryon should be arriving. They live in Virginia but took a road trip to Augusta Georgia for a few days and was hoping to take a run up to Columbia SC to catch a glimpse of the Williams-Brice Stadium where her favorite college football team was playing against the South Carolina Gamecocks. I’m so happy that she will be arriving happy that her Alabama Crimson Tide team won last night with a score of 29 to 22! Chris’s daughter lives not far from me so Alli and her family will be coming over for a meatball dinner and to celebrate a few birthdays between her and a few of their kidlets also. We’ll have a houseful of love for sure! I made 162 meatballs the other day and smelling so good!

Another exciting happening is the LA Dodgers also won last night! Rich has been a Dodger fan since they were the Brooklyn Dodgers and I know he is smiling down on his team! I have his Dodger corner set up in the backyard where I’m saving his seat for when he visits me in spirit.
