Sons of Thunder: Redemption
Since finding Pure Flix online streaming platform, I have watched some amazing Faith based movies. The best thing about Pure Flix is they don’t use foul language in any of the movies. There might be a small amount of violence but nothing that is extreme and it’s a great platform to watch with your young teens. Today I’m writing about the last eposide in Sons of Thunder: Redemption from Season 1. Be sure to enter the give away at the end of my blog for a chance to win a 3 month subscriptions of Pure Flix!
There are six eposides in Season 1 and I watched them all as soon as they came out. The story is about a former biker gang member who after being released from prison sets out to find his ex-fiance to ask for forgiveness. He found her on the Gibson Family Ranch.
Jacob’s journey led him to the Gibson Ranch and he got a part-time job there after being reunited with Sandy. Soon another biker, Logan started working at the farm and both he and Logan became friends. As the ranch was in foreclosure, the owner’s son came up with an idea to hold a rodeo fund raiser. However obstcales got in the way, one being Ethan Walker who held the mortgage on the ranch and was a past friend turned rival of Mike, the owner of the ranch. He didn’t want the rodeo to go on and was trying to hold up the permits.
Eposide 6 Do or Die
Jacob’s past came out when he and Logan had a fight and both were asked to leave the ranch. Jacob stopped and talked with Ethan and found out why the good friendship he had with Mike went bad. Jacob tried to tell Ethan after all these years he needed to find peace and the rodeo needed to go on but without the permit it couldn’t.
Meanwhile Jacob’s old biker gang was on the hunt to find him with the help of Logan who was just a “decoy” at the farm to help the gang located Jacob. As the fund raiser was going on, the gang members kidnapped Jacob and in a secluded area guns were drawn. Jacob had faith in God and at this time Logan realized he needed to help Jacob and not work with the gang any longer. God was in control and you’ll be excited to see how this eposide 6 ended.
This series teaches that with faith and prayer, God will help us get through difficult situations. Jacob carried his Bible to prison and it was returned when he left. The Bible was his best friend and helped him get through so much. This eposide shows us that jealously, letting go of the past, accepting responsibility for wrongs we’ve done by making things right and to apologize and forgive is the right thing to do. It tells more than a story about a ranch in fore closure, it teaches us that love, prayer and finding peace can be the best thing. Each episode shares a lesson showing how prayer and God will help with answers to situations that could otherwise turn out violent.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire season and you can sign up to Pure Flix to watch the Sons of Thunder: Redemption and many more Faith based movies.
