So Many Surprises
There were so many surprises during the April Ultimate Blog Challenge! Many I mentioned in my ending challenge post about an Awesome Challenge! But there were a few others that I have to share.
One was when my blogger friend Brenda’s son took over her blog and is now writing his own blogs! The first blog Mark wrote was about a surprise from Lia. I had no idea he would write such a beautiful blog about Bella’s gift and you can read it here.
Then there was a surprise package from Brenda which even included a pink hammer for Lia’s craft projects! She was so excited when she opened the box to see all the craft beads and even a Princess crown. But there was also a completed necklace made with her favorites…flowers and butterflies! Mark knew she loved them both and surprised her with the beautiful necklace.

But there was one surprise we almost missed! As I was going through some FB sites a few days late, I noticed a beautiful drawing and thought, “that looks like Lia.” It WAS Lia! My blogger friend Lily is in a 100 day challenge to draw/paint something and on this day she choose Lia! We were so honored and it was such a wonderful surprise! I’m going to have it printed on canvas as a keepsake for Lia!
One thing I noticed was this was Lily’s day 73 draw. I have a thing about finding something in numbers. I turned 73 in March, Lia is 3, we have 7 grandchildren and if you had the numbers together, it totals 10, the number of great grandchildren we have.
Thank you Lily for a beautiful gift through your painting, you are such a talented artist and a great friend!
Lia and I have never met our blogger friends but in the blogging world, everyone is just like family and we feel so connected to them all! Thank you all for your love and friendship.
What a lovely drawing! I can’t wait to see what Lia creates with her beads!
Lia will be making plenty of jewelry Dominique!
I love Lily’s drawing, it so captures Lia.The number seven as we both know means angels are with you. I would say all three people written about in this article are Earth Angels.
I love coming up with meanings for numbers Brenda. Yes, that’s so special to know number seven means angels are with us. My mom was born on the 25th, that equals 7 when added together!
Martha, what fun looking at the numbers of your life that way. I see and believe that God buries amusing patterns like that in a number of levels in our lives. It reminds us that there is a Divine Order pervasive throughout the Universe. God is again saying, “Remember– I’m here when you need Me.”
Yes God does do that Kebba and He has been here for me in so many ways.
Iām so glad you have friends all over the world. š
The bloggers I have met are now special friends Amanda, including you!
That’s simply superb! And, those illustrations!
Thanks Roy, this past challenge has been awesome and filled with so many surprises!
