Sitting on the Porch Sipping Coffee
Sitting on the Porch Sipping Coffee
The Ultimate Blog Challenge is winding down, only 7 more days left. Today’s challenge sounded very interesting. It was suggested to write about sitting on the porch sipping coffee with one of my blog readers and tell what would we chat about.
I have met so many wonderful new friends since I’ve been blogging the past few years but the one that I would love to sit on the porch and chat with is Jennifer, owner of Life of a Busy Mommy blog. I haven’t known Jennifer too long, but as soon as I read her blog for the first time, something told me she had spunk and drive, just like I do. I read her “about the author” and that confirmed my thoughts.
Jennifer’s Blog
Now days it seems every Mommy has a very busy life. Here you will find my thoughts, tips and ideas that make my life a little less hectic. And I will share with you some of my crazy days. Who knows, maybe they will give you inspiration.
“I am a busy mom of 8, and grandmother of 6. I enjoy giving joy to others and sharing my knowledge with others.”
I saw so much similarities when I read her bio. I too am a busy mom of 2 and grandmother of 7 plus great-grandmother of 4 and I too enjoy giving joy to others and sharing what knowledge I have with others.
Have you ever “met” someone on a social site and feel like you know them just after a few chats? Sometimes people just “click” and when I first met Jennifer, this is how I felt. She has such great blog topics but the one that I really look forward to is her Weekly Freebie Roundup where she shares some great freebies. When some people find freebies, they keep them to themselves without sharing, but not Jennifer, she is excited to share and help others.
Jennifer and I said our good-byes and I waved as she started walking done the path back to her home. What an enjoyable morning I had, spending time with my friend that has the same drive as I do.
It’s been said that the busier people are, the more they share and help others, I see this in Jennifer and myself.
ahhh but you and I actually got to sip coffe and hot chocolate!!! Didn’t have ti imagine that lol
Yes we did and it was great Terry! Maybe next time we’ll sip it in Florida! You were the lst facebook friend that I’ve actually met in person. And twice at that! We hit it off right from the start, love it!
Aw isn’t that sweet!!
Wouldn’t it be cool if we could have a FB Blogger get together? LOL I’ve met a few and it was so neat, we seemed like old friends! Thanks for stopping by Sandy.
Awe, thanks so much, I feel honored you picked me 🙂 And you are so right, I think we would be fast friends and before we knew it, the time would have flown by, if we got to meet in person! I think that is why I so look forward to your posts as well, we are quite a lot alike 🙂 Oh and I LOVE HOT CHOCOLATE TOO!!!
I’ll get another cup of hot chocolate ready Jennifer! One day, we shall meet and it will be so exciting. I so enjoy all your blogs yes, we would be fast friends!
Sounds like a beautiful friendship in the making!
Yes, Judith, it is! It’s amazing how people can “meet” each other on social sites and after becoming friends, it seems like we’ve known each other forever! I was lucky to actually meet one of my FB friends a few years ago when she was about 100 miles south of us. We met for lunch and this past year they stopped again on their way back home to Florida. We are like sisters! Thanks for visiting Judith!
The ability to think like that is always a joy to behold
Thanks for visiting Rosamond.
