Silly Saturday Family Pictures
Today is Silly Saturday and what better day to share some silly Saturday family pictures.
With my older sister in Albany, NY and my younger sister in Maine it’s hard to get us all together at once. But in the summer of 2022 we made the drive from South Carolina to Albany while my younger sister drove down from Maine to meet up with our older sister in Albany. It was the first mini reunion we had in probably over 10 years! My sister Anne surprised Nancy and me with Older, Middle and Younger t-shirts and we had such a fun time together reliving the past. Of course Lia had to get in the picture with a funny face too! In case you didn’t know, the older sister makes the rules, the middle sister is the reason we have rules and of course rules don’t apply for the younger sister. These shirts were so cool!
I love to see Lia laugh for no reason. We were on a boat tour looking for dolphins and as the wind got in Lia’s hair she said it tickled and sported a huge smile.
This is why you never give your phone to someone else. Getting ready for my gall bladder surgery and Rich snapped this photo of me! Gotta get all my hair tucked under my sleeping cap.
Last Christmas Eve, I (I mean Santa) was getting the gifts and stocking ready for Christmas morning. Snowball caught him and saw he stocking and wanted it right then. No Snowball go back to sleep and you’ll get it in the morning.
Christmas morning arrived and Snowball was so excited to finally get his stocking. But he pulled and pulled and couldn’t get it of the hook. Finally he was able to get one of the toys out and he was happy! I love watching silly videos of Snowball.
My blogger/FB friend Kebba came up with the idea for Silly Saturday and I’m so glad she did! We can all need a laugh now and then! Hope you have a great weekend.
Having a silly day is a wonderful idea, Martha. Love your photos and videos. Snowball is very cute and determined! He makes me laugh. You all made me smile.
Snowball sure is a joy to have around Lily.
I love the idea of Silly Saturday! And I always love seeing your pictures. They’re always so cute.
Thanks Jeanine, I’m so glad Kebba thought of this!
Whoa, I had no idea that opening Christmas stockings involved so much hard work, good job, Snowball!
I remember your sisters’ reunion, great times!
You’re right, we can all benefit from Silly Saturday, in fact, why limit the laughs to one day per week 😉
That’s true Tamara, why not be silly every day!
What great memories to look back on and laugh at. Remember, in the book of Proverbs it says “Laughter is good medicine.” These pictures made me smile.
Oh yes, we need laughter in our lives Amanda.
loved this post full of smiles and love and laughter Martha!! and especially loved the pic of Lia’s smile
Thanks Vidya, I love Silly Saturday, some photos bring back memories while others are current.
