Saturday Silliness

Today I’m sharing some Saturday Silliness just to bring some laughs and smiles to those who need it. I think every one can join in with being silly at times!

I don’t remember who sent me this but it is sure to bring some laughs with this silly picture.

Last weekend Taco was trimming my neighbors tree limbs. Here in South Carolina we grow the thickest and strongest vines. I call them Jack in the Bean Stalks but we’ve never found a pot of gold tumbling down. Taco grabbed three of them in an attempt to pull them down but instead he started swinging on them like Tarzan! Nothing like having a bit of fun and silliness while working!

This is my neighbor and Lia’s best friend Judy! She broke her shoulder last week so I’ve been taking her to her doctor appointments. I had to run to Costco and asked if she was up to going along for the ride. She had never been there and she was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the large put ups of groceries. Costco’s snack bar has a foot long hotdog plus beverage for $1.50 so we decided to have lunch. Judy is a tiny lady, 82 pounds, and she was being so silly so I snapped her picture. Not sure if the pain meds she was on helped. LOL

I’m ending Saturday Silliness with a video Lia took of me trying to crack open a nut she found. She has a squirrel nutcracker she uses as a garden ornament so we went outside thinking it would crack the nut with no problem. Guess again, I couldn’t make a dent in the shell! But Lia had fun making the video as I was being silly.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday full of a little bit of silliness!

That was wonderfully silly. I especially enjoyed Lia’s video. She is hilarious.

  2. Baby on board had me laughing at my computer! How sweet you are helping your neighbor, Judy, while she’s on the mend. Was she able to sample any store d’oeuvres at Costco? I can imagine she must have felt overwhelmed by all their offerings. What a fun video Lia shot with cameo by Snowball!

Oh yes, Judy had such a fun time Jodi. I joked with her saying I was going to have to put a leash on her because she kept wandering away from me. LOL

I love shopping at Costco! I go every week to stock up on butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and blackberries. Recently, they have had the best peaches.

  4. Martha, I think that nutcracker is largely decorative! And it is very lovely. Maybe a hammer would have worked better for such a hard shell? I can relate to Taco swinging from vines. My Mom’s family is from central Florida, and sometimes the fig vines can become bigger and more vital than the tree they are climbing on. At least Taco had a fun moment with them! As you know, I think silliness is very very important! <3

    Baby on Board 😂 Priceless!
I came across a video just the other day where a squirrel 🐿️ visited a family’s deck every day, and their golden retriever made friends with Chippy, that’s what they called the visitor. They would leave nuts 🌰 out, and the dog even shared his toys!
