SALAD CUTTER BOWL

 

This Salad Cutter Bowl by Joly Joy makes preparing salads so easy!   We have salads just about everyday and cutting vegetables is so quick and easy!  I like the FDA approved food-grade material plus it’s 100% BPA free. The bowl is a large 8″ diameter so it backs a big salad plus it has four functions, it’s a vegetable (or fruit) bowl, a colander, cutting board and easy chopper all in one!  The salad cutter bowl makes cutting salads so much safer since you don’t have to worry about cutting fingers.

 

The first thing I did before making my salad was to decide which knife would work the best.  I wanted to make sure my knife blade was long enough to go through the entire slat from one side to the other. Check out my video showing the different knives I tried.

 

I liked both the knives but preferred the serrated blade knife, it seemed to cut through the vegetables smoother.   Now that I have decided on the best knife I was ready to make my salad!

**************I put my vegetables in the bowl, put the cutting board on it, flip it over and start cutting the vegetables for a delicious salad.   When cutting vegetables, the juice has a place to go with the channel around the bottom of the base to collect any liquid and no spills on the counter.

 

**************It’s easy to rotate the bowl to cut in the opposite direction or lift the top bowl with the two top handles.  Once I was done cutting up the vegetables, I turned to bowl and base over, removed the base and there was my salad, all ready to add the dressing!  Washing the bowl after using is very easy, I just wash in hot soapy water, rinse and hang up to dry. with the hanging hole which saves cupboard space.
