Relive Moments

Relive Moments

We are already on day 6 of the October Ultimate Blog Challenge and the suggested topic today is to share with readers what you are doing today.  Our work week has been super busy so today we didn’t go to our store, instead we reorganized our garage.  We are going through a major life change and it was great to close my eyes and just toss the things that have been stacked up for “sometime I can use this”.   We accomplished a lot but still have some more reorganizing to do while we relive moments.

Later in the afternoon there was a faint knock on our door and it was another surprise visit from our granddaughter, Alexandra and her daughter.  Seems like Lia Faith heard that Great Grandpapa had a bad fall the other day and she wanted to see how he was feeling.  We just can’t get enough of either of them.  So while Alexandra and I were talking she was mentioning about a conversation she had with her brother. She was saying it would be awesome if people could relive moments of the past in a way that it looks like as if you were watching a movie in first person.  Alex and Zachary were talking about when they would play video games together when the would stay over with papa and me when they were younger.  She thought it would be cool if they could relive parts of their life in a way of a first person.

Zachary mentioned if this was possible, he would want to relive the time when he would be at our shop, eating pancakes and watch Blues Clues together with Alex. Of all the things that he could relive, it’s the simple thing of being at the shop with us eating pancakes!

The reason being for this, when people go through life, they tend to let things go by and they don’t realize how much the appreciate them until it’s too late.  With that, people would have the ability to relive moments and appreciate them more.   It’s the importance of certain moments that are long gone that they could be relived 20 years or so later knowing they are so special.

Hubby and I have so many special moments with our grandchildren spending time with us at our store since they were born.  Alex is 22 and Zachary is 20 so reliving special moments would be extra special!  Of course we know that will never happen to relive things that happened years back, that’s why we have memories to hold on to.

So what are you doing today and if something like this was possible, what special memory would you like to relive?

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

    Hi Martha,
I am working on my blog for this challenge. It is pretty much of a full time job to sort and edit the pictures for the web and select the best ones and build a story around them.
It is also a great opportunity to relive the memories of the days when the pictures were captured.
Often I spend some time researching the facts before I post them. that is a way to learn even more that I did from visiting the places the first time.

If found that sorting and editing pictures can take more time than writing the blog itself Doug! But yes, it’s fun to relive the memories. I enjoy taking trips with you through your awesome photos! Glad to see you in the challenge again.
