It’s WORDLESS WEDNESDAY, the perfect day to share some photos of Rich’s and my relaxing sneak away to the mountains. We quietly left early in the morning and for two days we didn’t do much, just relaxed! The photos of the stream were the view from our balcony.

Two days of nothing but relaxing and seeing some beautiful sites. Now back to reality! Hope you all enjoyed the relaxing photos.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Your short trip looks relaxing indeed.
Getting away from it all and recharge your batteries is so valuable.
Thank you for granting us a peak! Love the heart shaped stone – I bet it was a sign to congratulate you guys on your upcoming anniversary! 💖

Your pictures tell a wonderful story.

I remember that eternal flame at Red Clay park. Was that where you were? I imagine many parks commemorating the Cherokee have one.

That’s a great cabin, but I wouldn’t want to try to make it through the winter in it!

    Such lovely views!
    Thank you for sharing

We were in Cherokee, NC and the Great Smoky Mountain National park Laurie. We love to visit the eternal flame when we go there. Yes the cabin would be a bit drafty in the winter but I would love to find something similar that was perhaps built a bit more insulation. LOL

It’s so peaceful in the mountains Amrita. We had two days of nothing but watching the ducks and walking along the river bank.
