Received the Most Comments
What topics or posts have worked to get your readers talking? Today I’m breaking away from my regular scheduled topics to use Paul’s suggested blog topic. He suggests to write about the 3 or 4 blog posts that have received the most comments. This will be fun to check out which blogs take the prize.
I checked my blogs for the past 30 days and found that the leader in comments was April 2023 Ultimate Blog Challenge with 54 views and 20 comments. This blog was the welcome to the April challenge blog and introduce Lia to any new members!
Coming in number two in comments was Lia’s Sunshine Bakery has Gone to the Dogs with 27 views and 12 comments. This was an exciting blog about adding doggy biscuits to Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Alzheimer’s Fundraiser bake sale coming up this Saturday.
The blog was about the peanut butter biscuits I made but since I posted the blog I also made sweet potato biscuits! Snowball did a taste test and loved them both!
But my all time winner was from a blog I wrote in August 2017. This has the most comments of all the blogs I’ve written since I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 totaling 92 comments.
After seeing so many yellow butterflies in our yard I decided to do some research of the subject. There are many meanings that I found but my favorite is “Irish folklore believes that the yellow butterflies show that the departed souls of our loved ones are resting peacefully in their after life.” It’s also been said that if you whisper a message to a butterfly, it will carry it to your loved ones. Every time I see a yellow butterfly I whisper an I love you message to send back to my mom. http://themarthareview.com/yellow-butterflies/
All the views and comments are because of you, my readers and Lia and I thank you all for supporting everyone’s blogs in this awesome challenge!
What a nice job the butterflies 🦋 are doing, carrying our messages to the other side 💖
That’s a great topic – and always interesting to see what catches interest! Yellow butterflies are so cheery
I love the wee Oregon blues named after my father-in love Kenny Fender – Fender’s Blue Butterfly (Icaricia)
How interesting to have a butterfly named after your father-in-law Nadya!
Congratulations on creating so many wonderful posts!
Thanks Kate! It’s fun to check stats like this during the challenge months.
Great job on page views and comments!! My best day so far was the 1st post this month, too. The second was about the full moon in Libra – not sure if that’s because I wrote about the full moon or about Libra.
You did great also Jeanine! I’m thinking the first one was the most because bloggers, old and new, what to see what the plans are!
Martha, how fascinating that you got the most reactions ever, to the post with the flowers and butterflies. I’ll have to check my stats sometime. Good stuff!
The butterfly post takes the most comments every even though it’s from why back in my early blogging days Kebba. It’s interested to check the stats now and then.
