Quick Crescent Rolls Pizza

Quick Crescent Rolls Pizza

Has this happened to you? The kids bring friends home from school and of course they are hungry. Or you have unexpected company drop in but you have no snacks on hand.  No problem, just whip up some quick crescent rolls pizza.  All you need is a tube of crescent rolls, some spaghetti or tomato sauce, shredded cheese and maybe some bacon, pepperoni or even left over chicken.

Carefully unroll the dough flat and cut circles the size of the bottom of a muffin pan.  Lightly spray with cooking oil and place the dough in each muffin cup. I added some shredded cheese, then about a tablespoon of spaghetti sauce, then more cheese.  Even without adding anything else, this makes a quick snack.

But for mine, I cut bacon in small pieces before cooking it up then drained it on a paper towel. I like to cut bacon with scissors, it’s easier than trying to cut small pieces with a knife. I love my Chef Remi multi function kitchen shears. Click for Chef Remi Shears  Sprinkle the bacon (or even left over chicken works great) and cover with more cheese if desired.

Bake in a per-heated, 375 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and the crust is golden brown.  They will smell so good and you will want to eat them right away, but wait 5 minutes before taking them out of the muffin pan.

Quick crescent rolls pizza are a great snack when the kids can’t wait for dinner or company stops over. They sure are delicious!

What a great idea, I never thought of using the crescent rolls. I use the regular ones.

I’ve used the regular ones also Brenda, but I find the crescent roll dough is thinner, more like pizza dough. Either way, they are both quick, easy and delicious!

  3. Great idea! Might try these this weekend.
