Quick and Easy Pizza Snack
Hi it’s Lia again and I’m stealing mama’s blogging show two days in a row! I wanted to share me super quick and easy pizza snack with you. It’s perfect for little ones like me to make by myself and it also fun. Of course you will need a grown-up to help you get the ingredients ready.
All you need is three ingredients unless you want to add pepperoni. We always have a package of flour tortillas on hand, my pizza takes one tortilla, spaghetti sauce and shredded cheese.
I started by spreading some spaghetti sauce on the tortilla. You can heat the sauce or use it right from the jar.
Next I take my little fingers and grab some shredded cheese and cover the top of the sauce. I love cheese and can never have too much! That’s it, my pizza is finished. If you want to add pepperoni, add that over the cheese.
I think I got carried away with the sauce so mama came up with the idea to roll the tortilla and eat it like a hotdog! My quick and easy pizza snack was so good and it filled my tummy!
I’m not quite old enough to figure out how much my pizza snack cost but mama said they make kits you can buy at the grocery store with smaller sized flat bread, sauce and cheese to make pizza. I think my way would save money, I’ll have to figure it out when I learn more about my numbers. So whether you are a big person or a little person, this is a yummy pizza snack that is easy to make.
Mama wrote a blog post about three years ago with her version of easy pizzas made with crescent rolls! I haven’t made them yet but that might be a baking project in the near future. http://themarthareview.com/quick-crescent-rolls-pizza/
I hope you or your little ones enjoyed this quick and easy pizza snack! As mama says, until next time…. BLOG ON.. but first I need to take a nap!!
Love the Pizza Lia! Looks yummy!
It was fun to make and delicious Cindy!
Great idea, Lia! I will have to try that with my daughter!
I hope you daughter enjoys making a pizza Dominique. Lia says thanks!
I love pizza.
This is a great recipe for a quick and easy snack Amanda! Thanks for visiting.
Perfect pizza for a little one!
Yes is it Angie. Lia is so independent and loves making things on her own, this pizza is perfect.
Lia, great job! Now, do you heat this EZ pizza snack? Looks yummy, regardless.
Lia says thank you Kebba. She doesn’t heat it unless we heat the sauce first. Quick, easy and delicious snack.
Also, I checked out your Quick Crescent Rolls Pizza. YUM! I need to start keeping tubes of crescent roll dough in my fridge. Thanks again! (And are there baking directions with today’s pizza snacks?)
Hi Kebba, there are so many yummy crescent roll snacks we make. I’ll have to send you the other blog with recipes! As for Lia’s pizza, we heat up the sauce before she spreads it on the tortilla but don’t bake it when ingredients are added. You could microwave it for maybe 15 seconds but Lia munches on them cold! Thanks for visiting!
Great idea Lia!
Lia says thanks Steve! Maybe we should have pizza party someday!
Martha, I commented twice yesterday and neither of my comments is showing. I hope you saw them. I was asking for cooking instructions for this pizza snack.
Sorry for the delay in replying Kebba. I got so far behind on my comment replies! But this pizza is good cold or warmed up in microwave. Lia just makes it and eats it cold! Thanks for visiting.
