Pretty Bluebirds for Wordless Wednesday

Since we had the snow and ice storm last week, my yard has be filled with bluebirds and I love capturing pictures of them, I hope you enjoy the pretty bluebirds for Wordless Wednesday. I haven’t used my Nikon camera in so long it was time to pull it out and work on settings. There is also another topic at the end with a few words!

Mr. Snowy
These would be great for Silly Saturday but January ends on Friday!

You may remember my post the other day about Mr. Snowy, my granddaughter and great granddaughter made him. He was the talk of the town and it made neighbors smile and giggle. Well last Saturday Mr. Snowy seemed to be losing weight rapidly and his facial features were changing. By Sunday he collapsed and was so skinny you could see his bones! I’m gonna miss the little guy! LOL
I have to give credit to blogger friend Jasmine Q for giving me this idea when she commented on my Silly Saturday blog. Check out her blog, she has great crochet tips among other interesting blogs!
The bluebirds you shared are so stunning and calming—thank you for mentioning me! I like your version of the skeleton. Mine has barely any snow left. I need to find a new place for him.
I laughed so much seeing your snowman Jasmine that I knew I had to do the same before Lia would come over the next day. I jumped on Amazon and found one with overnight free shipping! Now I plan to get a witch and have the two of them on my little porch table and chair set for Halloween!
That bird is truly the Bluebird of Happiness, and the snow human is just fun!!! Great photographs! Thank you, Martha!
I love when the bluebirds visit the yard Alice. Mr. Frosty got a lot of neighbors stopping by.
I saw and enjoyed these pictures on your Facebook page 🙂
So sorry to see Mr Snowy melting. Are the bluebirds still around? They are so pretty, and I can’t believe you you caught them so close with the zoom!
Thanks Tamara, I really need to take more time with my camera. We have so many wildlife areas where I could get some good shots.
They are so pretty, Martha!! Thanks for sharing them with us. I love Mr. Snowy, too
Thanks Jeanine, I love the bluebirds when they are all puffed out. Mr. Snowy make quite a hit in the neighborhood.
Martha, I love your bluebird photos! I hope you will enter at least #2 in a nature photography contest. Amazing! And your melting snowguys are fantastic, especially the one who is down to his skeleton. Good job, Jasmine!
I never thought of entering any a a nature contest Kebba, maybe I check that out. I’m so glad Jasmine shared her “bones” with me, the neighborhood kids loved it!
What a sweet blog. I love birds.
So do I Amanda!
