Portable Induction Burner
Portable Induction Burner
Wow, am I impressed with the portable induction burner I recently ordered. After opening the box, my first thought was, “how does this work” but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is. I like the gloss black top with the stainless sides, it goes great with my stove top and refrigerator.
Along with the induction burner, there is a magnet in the box to test and make sure the pans you use are compatible with the burner. This Bellemain burner works with all magnetic metal cookware whether it’s steel, stainless steel, cast iron or enameled iron but to be sure, just attach the magic to the bottom. I stick the magnet on the side of my refrigerator next to counter where I use the induction burner so it’s always handy. I also don’t use any metal utensils for stirring as all metallic objects are not to be placed on the cooking surface.
The digital panel is easy to use with the 10 programmable power levels plus 10 temperature settings from as low as 140 degrees F up to 460 degrees F. It even has a three hour programmable timer. Once I set my desired settings, I click the child lock button just for safety so I don’t worry about accidentally changing them. If I need to change settings, it’s easy to unlock by holding the button for three seconds. The child lock is just one of the excellent features on this 1800 watt induction burner, it also has a no pan detection warning and an overheating auto shutoff safety feature.I was amazed at how quick I made my stir fry and the vegetables stayed so colorful and not mushy. Cooking on an induction burner is different than cooking on a stove top. It heats and cools twice as fast as a regular stove top plus it has up to 70% energy savings.
Word of caution: DO NO HEAT THE PAN WHEN EMPTY!!
I sprayed a little oil in the bottom of my magnetic pan, added the vegetables then set it on the induction burner and turned it on. It’s so easy, press the ON/OFF and SELECT and the LED display will flash and cooking begins immediately. My stir fry took less than 5 minutes to cook and it was delicious! I turned the induction burner off, removed the pan from the glass cooktop, being careful not to touch it since the cooking surface will still be hot. I always unplug the burner from the wall outlet when not in use.
When the induction burner is turned on, it sounds similar to an exhaust fan and I love how it detects problems while it is operating. The burner will automatically shut off and show an error code to let you know what the problem is. It lets you know if there is no pan or it’s incompatible, if the pan has cooked dry or if the temperature is too high. I love having the Bellemain Induction Burner as an addition in my kitchen for delicious cooking.
This is another delicious meal I made with left over steak, peppers and onions fried together. I added them to scrambled eggs and topped with shredded cheese for a quick and dinner.
Clean up is easy, I just wipe the burner down with a damp cloth AFTER it has cooled down. I am very pleased with the quality, the construction, the ease of using this product and how great it looks on my counter. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest opinion and can’t say enough great things about it.
Unfortunately this are currently unavailable but check back to see if in stock.
That sounds like a great burner to have. I use to have a double one years ago. Not sure what happened to it.
Wow, I’d love a double one! I’m so hooked on this, I love how quick food cooks. Thanks for stopping by.
