PLEASE LEAVE JAYDEN ALONE!!
PLEASE LEAVE JAYDEN ALONE!!
For the past few days my inbox and messenger app has been inundated with a message saying: “Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks. Forwarded as received. Hold your finger down on the message. At the bottom in the middle it will say forward. Hit that then click on the names of those in your list and it will send to them.” He is not a hacker so PLEASE LEAVE JAYDEN ALONE!!
It you get this message, don’t panic, don’t forward it and don’t share on your wall! Every time I get something like this, I get the link from Snopes.com and send it to those how sent the original message on. If you get this false message, send this link to the ones that sent it to you or post on your wall: http://www.snopes.com/computer/internet/hackermail.asp
I hope you haven’t been flooded with the same message warning about a hacker, we just need to have everyone stop re-sending it and please leave Jayden alone!
Not just Jayden but the past couple weeks I have received these messages about several people. I have just been ignoring them. Although I am just about ready to shut down my Facebook account. Except as bloggers we need it. So I just ignore the messages. Have a Blessed day.
It’s so annoying Glenda! But if we leave the sites, they are the winners. If the people who receive this messages would stop re-sending them, it would be a big help. Hoping people see the snopes site and check it before sending fake messages. Thanks for visiting and happy blogging!
I’m far more worried about the exploits of TheDonald and his minions. Those hacks are real.
It’s so annoying to constantly get a message from someone telling to I have to share these. I just wanted to let them know before sending anything, check it out. Thanks for stopping by Roy.
Oh my gosh! This is so good! I love it! I get all those messages on FB and only want it to step!
Thanks.
A few weeks ago it was donuts, then it was someone dying of cancer and now Jayden! Why can’t these people get a life and do something to help people instead of being a nuisance! Thanks for stopping by Paul.
Oh, those Facebook hoaxes (before that, it was email hoaxes. Before that, chain letters. Sigh.) At best, they annoy. At worst, they can harass the innocent victims. I’ve tweeted this out and thank you for this public service.
Oh how I remember the chain letters! If you didn’t send them out you’d have years of bad luck! LOL I’ve always said if the people that doe all these hoaxes and harassment would do something constructive instead of destructive, think how much better things would be. Thanks for sharing to get the word out Alana.
I see it on Facebook and have even had it sent via private message. I want it to stop!
I have received so many private messages and it’s so annoying! That’s why I wrote this blog to hopefully help others get the word out to have the people who are sharing it to stop! Thanks for visiting Sheryl!
I got so many messages warning me about Jayden. It was annoying so I fact checked it and discovered that it was bogus. Apparently, Jayden is not a hacker. Lizzie Borden, on the other hand…
There are so many bogus things going around and I just automatically check snopes. Thanks for visiting Alice
