EPIPHANY     Every one knows Christmas comes each year on December 25th, when Christians around the world celebrate the birth of a baby named Jesus. I like to dabble in poetry and I’ve always wanted to put the ones I write in a book with a few that my mom wrote many, many years ago.   Many of my short poems are actually written for people I know and what they are going through. This is a poem I wrote when you think things are at there worse.  Seems like everything happens all at once, we get overwelmed and feel like things can’t get better.  But things will change and bright days will be ahead.  

CLOIE A few weeks ago I was waiting at the surgery center for my cataract surgery.    About 7:30 AM a mom and her little girl came in and sat next to me as they were waiting for the little girl’s surgery.  Cloie was a typical three year old, being very shy at first then she opened up like a butterfly, smiling,  playing peek-a-boo and checking out all the people waiting. Her mom and I started chatting and she told me of the previous surgeries Cloie had already had and

  So I just heard about the Ultimate Blog Challenge to write a blog post every day in the month of January. I’m a bit late at joining, but I will make up for the days I missed.   This event is held every quarter, January, April, July, and October.  The goal is to write and share a new blog post every day during each challenge month.   One reason Danni Ackerman, Paul Taubman II and Michele Scism started this was to help bloggers increase traffic and built your audience.
